The room escalated it into the shower, into funerals, into ETH Denver. Waldo simply took all three and announced he'd buy Bitcoin.

Billabong's community-building soapbox [P2 2:15:17]–[P2 2:23] — Arriving seven hours deep after a rough day, Billabong delivered a concentrated take: cabal complaints don't fix anything, "the game" is the same high-school dynamic everywhere, and the real work is drawing attention honestly and building people's confidence so the shy ones start talking.

Base vs. the builders [P2 1:42]–[P2 2:11] — Waldo went off on Base championing insiders and pivoting from memes to AI while long-time builders got shafted; Fred (dialing in from Medellín after an earthquake) offered a calmer thesis that Robinhood's competition is the kick Base needed to re-embrace memes and community.
