Akin (@AkinSawyerr) argued blockchains are built for exactly this — a valuable card in the middle of nowhere gets global pricing and liquidity on-chain — and told the World Cup Panini story of a collector who cornered a rare card of a breakout French player and flipped a few for six grand as the tournament played out.
