His pitch against meme-coin trading generally: you're playing a game where the rules, the players, and the randomness are all invisible — like playing soccer blindfolded with an American football while the goals keep changing size and direction. Here, everything is transparent and on-chain, and the game theory (does a beaten-down faction rebuy? does a two-night loser have great odds tonight?) is the actual fun. [54:21] Why he stays. Asked what he loves outside the money, Sergito declined the easy answer. Good people are everywhere if you know how to find them — what isn't everywhere is a once-in-a-generation frontier technology. He'd step back from the social side if the space tilted further toward the people who pretend to be good until they ream you (and the worship of those people, which he said grosses him out), but as long as Ethereum keeps producing blocks, he's around in some form.

Cartel presence was simply the local industry, in the way that Connecticut kids have friends whose parents are partners at Goldman; a high-school best friend later turned himself in to the FBI. Lyss's response was the line of the night: if you can cross an international border daily, you can make it to Brooklyn a little more often. His counter — he's in Hudson Yards, there's no good subway — was met with an offer of a ride, then the realization that Mike's car doesn't fit three people. Jed's revised plan: send Mike.

[1:09:45] The favorite-dog confession. Jed admitted his kids give him grief for having a favorite dog. Sergito, unbothered: one of them simply loves him back more. Sneakers waits on the couch until he gets home; Nike is the better cuddler but defects the moment the wife is in the room.
