Re:Envisioning Web3 | Who is Behind the PFP? — Space #300
Host: Lyss (@Lysss302) with co-hosts Jed (@jed_131) & Show (@AgogoKaren) · Date: Sat, 15 Aug 2026 · Duration: ~4h30m · 30+ speakers
TL;DR
- The regens celebrated the 300th consecutive daily "Who's Behind the PFP" space — a 4.5-hour victory lap that opened with Piff's custom "We the Regens" anthem and stayed mostly on the vulnerable, community side rather than the market side.
- Big announcement: Re:Envisioning will start rotating through community hosts (Woof, Show, Super, Slick, Tim, Cortez and more), with Liz co-hosting alongside.
- Jed laid out his thesis that the Robin Hood ecosystem (Anvil/Manson's/stonk brokers/Cardwall) is the "evolution of NFTs" toward passive income; Chrono talked up his Node tool.
- Dan's recap project got a new PFP (art by Mexico) and now supports optional one-time boosts or subscriptions — recaps stay free.
- Lots of runway on NFT NYC / New Quirk City and De Stefano's meetups; De Stefano's etiquette got a whole segment (pay your bill, tip your server).
- The emotional peak: Cortez gifted Liz two Bills tickets for Oct 18 in Las Vegas, and the room committed on the spot to running a space live from the stadium.
- Running bits carried the room: sleep-vs-grind, the mystical power of a "crispy Diet Coke," Tim aura-farming, and Jed insisting "this is not a bar."
Highlights
[10:34] Piff's "We the Regens" anthem sets the tone. Before anyone spoke, Piff's custom track played through — "300 chapters, 300 nights, 300 stories, 300 reasons we kept showing up" — closing on "we're not celebrating the number, we're celebrating everybody who made the number mean something." It choked Liz up and framed the whole day.
[15:03] Liz opens with the wisdom-teeth story. Half an hour before airtime her wisdom teeth flared up; she "had a conversation" with them and told them to wait. It became the day's recurring metaphor for showing up anyway — and, per Bored Osaka, evidence that "we should be speaking to every fiber of our being."
[33:35] A Marine's story. A Marine who lost baseball and his Corps career to a car accident described spending his life looking for family and finally finding it in the regens — crediting the community's encouragement for pushing him to use AI and build someone a website. His line "computers might as well be frisbees to me" landed the growth.
[46:21] The life-changing onboarding story. Sufz recounted quietly onboarding someone who then found Anvil and ended up with nine stonk brokers — a genuinely life-altering outcome. Jed called it "probably the best story I heard all day," using it to argue people underestimate the opportunity sitting in front of them.
[56:48] Slick Ric gets vulnerable. The self-described "lone survivor" spoke about compartmentalizing loss — his grandpa's passing, his daughter's seizures — and how the support system he'd yearned for since he was 13 turned out to be a group of people he found on the internet.
[1:09:31] The rotating-host announcement. Liz revealed that Re:Envisioning will be handed around to different regen members — Woof, Show, Super, Slick, Tim and others — as a leadership and growth play. She admitted it took Jed "a three-hour back-and-forth in her own mind" to agree to loosen the reins on "the baby."
[1:24:12] Poppy's whale rankings. Birthday boy Poppy (five kids at the house, one exhausted dad) turned the NFT NYC headcount into a bit — ranking Super and Tim as "dolphin, turtle," his son as "a caviar" sitting in the corner, and floating a "dine and dash" as "a good thing to do at regen De Stefano's."
[1:56:55] Tim, professional aura-farmer. Tim explained he'd been sitting silent for two hours "just aura farming," then, on his co-hosting of the regens' biggest space: "I was actually the host, they just were actually the co-host... it went good because I was there."
[2:32:53] The sleep tangent. After Chrono and Slick bragged about four-hour nights, Slick did the math on Show's seven hours: "You slept for eight days." It spiraled into Tim and Chrono pitching a proof-of-sleep NFT collection ("the token's gonna be Z's") and Liz declaring the sleepers "completely unproductive."
[4:04:06] Cortez gifts Bills tickets. Bills superfan Liz got an offer she couldn't refuse — Cortez handing over two tickets to the Oct 18 Raiders game in Vegas, with Tim throwing in "a free plastic table so you can jump through it." The room decided instantly to run a live space from the stadium.
[4:12:16] The crispy Diet Coke curriculum. Liz played the "why billionaires love Diet Coke" clip to educate Big Rugg, who admitted, "I don't even know what to say, but I guess I'm gonna start drinking Diet Coke." Jed confirmed the Stefano's now hears guests hoping their Diet Coke is "crispy" at every table.

Who said what
- Liz (@Lysss302) — host; drove the celebration, the "reset / refocus / realign" ethos, announced rotating hosts, unapologetic Bills superfan.
- Jed (@jed_131) — co-host; kept the "I hate spaces / am I done yet?" bit alive, delivered the Robin Hood / Anvil passive-income alpha, champion of connecting builders.
- Show (@AgogoKaren) — co-host; urged listeners off the sidelines ("that's a you problem" is where it started), celebrated her own 400+ space the day before.
- Super (@SHGFees) — started daily spaces because the regens showed him the value; NYC trip incoming.
- Chrono (@Crono1000) — dev behind Node; 20-hour-day philosophy, "go buy a regen, you're about to be priced out."
- Slick Ric (@richj530) — lone-survivor vulnerability early, high-energy hype ("get right or get left") later.
- A Marine veteran — found chosen family in the regens and started building with AI.
- Dan (@brokenrealitydh) — recap-project builder; new PFP by Mexico, optional donation/subscription, and a very good puppy named Honey.
- Poppy (@RealPapii) — birthday boy, NFT NYC sponsor announcement (regens + Kabu + 3D Frankenpunks), whale/caviar banter.
- Jazzy (@RealJazzyJ92515) — the day's most sweeping monologue on the regen ethos and choosing family.
- Woof (@WoofArmyXX) — prep-heavy Re:Spaces host; near-97 topics ready to go.
- Tim (@tim_8093) — resident troll and aura-farmer; the vegan-broken-by-lamb-chops Stefano's story.
- Wealthy (@WealthySupreme) — recentered host; opened up about disassociation and relearning what community is.

Worth a full listen
- [1:12:16]–[1:27:00] — Poppy's segment. The birthday energy, the NFT NYC sponsor reveal, and the whale/caviar/"give me a number by Tuesday" banter move too fast to paraphrase.
- [2:26:00]–[2:34:01] — The sleep-vs-grind tangent. Chrono and Slick's no-sleep flexing collides with Show's seven healthy hours and becomes a fake proof-of-sleep NFT launch. Peak regen chaos.
- [3:47:20]–[4:12:00] — Cortez to the finish. His tribute to McFly and Jed, the surprise Bills tickets, and the room's real, unscripted joy deciding to broadcast from Allegiant Stadium — this is the emotional core of the whole 300.
