Re:Invigorate With Woof: "The Internet Made Everyone An Expert"

Host: Woof (@WoofArmyXX) with cohost Margie B (@B4Margie) · Date: Mon, 10 Aug 2026 · Duration: 1:14:36 · Speakers: 4 main voices (plus the show's music/spoken-word tracks)

TL;DR

Highlights

[0:57] The "nein" that means no. Margie B, being taught German, keeps answering "nine" — which everyone hears as agreement — leading to a running gag where Woof asks if she can hear him and gets a cheerful "Nine. Nine." She also unveils her new spell word, "grumble scorch," which she insists comes from the original Grinch, not Harry Potter.

[10:19] The opening monologue. The show's spoken-word intro lays out the day's theme: "The internet gave everybody a microphone, but it never promised everybody wisdom," landing on the three "damn near revolutionary" words — I don't know.

[14:44] Weird news. Woof runs the roundup: a 1,200-pound giraffe named Gracie loose in Texas for two weeks (prompting Margie to Google the average giraffe weight), a fake cop who pulled over an undercover sheriff, a duct-tape "Batman" vigilante in Mexico, a Canadian sign missing a letter that read "pubic squares," a SpaceX "space jellyfish" over Florida, and a raccoon rescued with a mayonnaise jar stuck on its head (named Mayonnaise-ia).

[27:12] Margie chooses herself over the diagnosis. On learning things Google can't teach, Margie recalled being told she wouldn't walk, spiraling through internet searches, then deciding: "I'm not relying on the doctor, I'm not relying on the internet. I'm gonna rely on Margie B. And I walk."

[31:32] The pit bull meme as competence lesson. Cadarn drew the confidence/competence line with a meme of a dog that struts up confidently, then bails the moment the pit bull steps forward — "he wasn't competent enough to go forward." His point: anyone can manufacture courage; delivery is the substance.

[34:54] The unprepared doctor. Margie described co-hosting health Spaces with a paid guest doctor who couldn't answer questions submitted two weeks in advance, was quoting 2020-era info in 2026, and left early telling the room to "just finish up with Margie. She knows more than me." Woof's verdict: a big red flag that spells "run."

[41:20] Pancho on humility in the trades. Joining from the road between Baltimore and DC, Pancho tied the whole conversation to 25 years in construction — you meet every kind of character, everyone starts "green," and the best move is admitting you don't understand rather than faking it, wasting material, and getting caught. Extended to bilingual work sites: tell people you don't get it, "no one's gonna get mad at you" for that.

[1:01:01] Safety is a suggestion. Both Woof and Pancho landed on corporate safety being real until money's on the line. Woof recounted telling his plant manager that a task deemed unsafe one week became fine the next when the plant was losing hundreds of thousands a day — "hence why safety is a suggestion, it's not really what we live by."

[1:08:26] Grok got it all wrong. Margie closed with a caution that fit the theme: she'd asked Grok about people she actually knows and got incorrect answers across the board — including that she and Ryan were married, when she's been "happily divorced for 12 years." The one thing she'd let stand: "Margie B is spicy."
