[2:20] The pre-show is a Buffalo situation. Burningbush opened by explaining the only way to get Lyss to rally post-surgery was a Bills sing-along, warned the room that Lyss "could say something crazy," then immediately upgraded his own forecast: "it will be a great space. But it might be crazy space." Jed defended his DJ turf against the intrusion.

Jed played a talk about AI anxiety at work — that the emotions around it (FOMO, fear, excitement) are human problems, that travel and live concerts are booming because people crave real experiences, and that Amazon closing its cashier-less stores is a small referendum on all of it. Lyss noted that Mr. Brightside plays at the stadium when the Bills win — and that at the post-Chimpers dinner with Adam Weissman, someone brought up the Killers and Jed responded, "wait, who are the killers?" She then flipped into the week's reset framing: midweek is another chance to realign for the back half.

[13:35] Burningbush on why he's building the soundboard. After the room's audio adventures, he said hearing Mr. Brightside through Jed's setup reminded him exactly why he started building it — one-click clean audio for anyone in a space, because "the last thing we want is bad audio when we're experiencing these ideas."

He hopped up mostly to say that what's happening at Stefano's — chimps, quirkies, regens, VeeFriends, Fugs all cycling through — is something he hasn't seen elsewhere, and that founders he talks to get told they have to go see it. Jed's answer [16:39]: Cortez is flying in for a day on Friday, and the goal is simply that people know there's one spot in New York where six to ten Web3 people will be.

[19:01] Super on the ceiling of online. Superhighgasfees said post-NFT NYC he realized the spaces and posts are all attempts to recreate the IRL vibe, and nothing actually hits like it. He also decided "secret weapon" undersells the restaurant — it's more like a secret arsenal.

[25:31] Vinyl's introduction. From Mérida, Yucatán, in Web3 since 2021, artist currently wearing the dev hat. He's building a way for legacy NFTs to plug into the RWA wave — fee claims for older collections, "not only the new ones get to play the good games" — plus a separate project tying NFTs to actual land, which he pointedly declined to shill. Jed ran with the theme at [26:21]: loyalty and marketing rewards, giving holders a reason to keep what they love rather than sell it.

[35:38] chazzgold.eth changes his PFP, then leaves the house. Now that his collection has minted out, Chaz swapped his PFP as a nod of respect to the group. At [37:20] he described a last-minute IRL "Fireside" meetup in Portland — shoes already off, ran out the door — and came home with a 3D-printing crew inviting him to build with them, most of whom have never touched Web3.

[40:01] The rug heard round the space. Brrrbon dropped mid-childhood-story. Lyss called it — "the bourbon is down, the bourbon is down" — and Jed instantly 86'd old fashioneds for the day. VGF popped up from the middle of a work call at [41:18] purely to say the bar joke deserved more laughs than it got, then left. When Brrrbon reconnected and asked what the room had heard, Jed's deadpan reply at [42:25]: "Nothing. My name is Bourbon."

[44:07] The actual story, take two. South Florida to Ohio to Scottsdale; both parents born deaf, met at RIT; a family balloon business doing arches, drops and centerpieces for weddings, bar mitzvahs and the Dolphins, with young Brrrbon as phone-answerer, interpreter and, by his own account, child labor. He got into art school with an eight-foot fish made of balloons, then detoured into lacrosse.

[49:28] Cardano, a vanished founder, and the move to Ordinals. Priced out of Ethereum gas, Brrrbon took an art commission on Cardano — and the founder rugged as the project was launching, leaving him holding a community he hadn't started. He gathered the survivors and brought them to Ordinals, where it worked. At [50:47] he confirmed everything is sculpted by hand and photographed, with Photoshop cleanup; Jed contrasted that with AI-generated "clay" collections [51:06].
