Re:Building Together EP 322 — Sunday HangOut / RIP 2Pac
Host: CEELOS (@CEELOSFIGG) · Date: Sun, 13 Sep 2026 · Duration: 1:03:28 · Speakers: 4 (CEELOS, Baked, toomazingTM, Pharaoh)
TL;DR
- A birthday Sunday hangout for CEELOS, who insists he is 33 — counting from the day he got his first real skateboard at 11, which makes the first eleven years inadmissible [1:42].
- Baked (@Bakedmetax) is mid-move: room packed, shed undefeated, collectibles in two 27-gallon totes, and a video-game purchase that cost half a million of imaginary dollars [2:36] / [4:03].
- toomazingTM's casual "just hang with the boys" Space got shouted out in the big all-day Robinhood room and is now getting real traffic — plus founder Bourbon dropping alpha there before anywhere else [10:29] / [21:27].
- A long, wandering food section: vanilla supremacy, cupcake-flipping technique, strawberry cheesecake guilt, and 500 gingerbread cookies in a freezer [12:24]–[17:44].
- Mint chatter across free mints, hidden OpenSea collections, dinosaur plushies, and the Blockbeast reveal letdown, with CEELOS pitching wallet-connect holder discounts on merch as the thing more projects should be doing [48:29].
- CEELOS read out the Shell Me post about Poppy taking the original founder's 250 shells with a no-sell promise; toomazing wondered aloud why those weren't just part of the acquisition [57:44] / [59:46].
Highlights
[1:42] The birthday math. CEELOS opens episode 322 and immediately gets tangled in his own age: he's 44, but he's been skateboarding 33 years, and "that's when life really began." He also met his wife at 11. Verdict: 33 years old, the first eleven years void.
[4:03] Half a million dollars, gone. Mid-conversation about packing, Baked let out a quiet "oh I just did a bad thing… Oh only half a million dollars" — in a video game. That led to Baked's memory of watching Dave Portnoy fat-finger a million into a leverage trade on stream, lose it, and say, roughly, well, that's enough trading for today [5:37].
[12:24] The vanilla manifesto. Asked for his go-to cake, Baked went vanilla without hesitation, CEELOS immediately co-signed, and the two compared cupcake technique: CEELOS rips and flips so the frosting is inside (a move his wife taught him), Baked eats the frosting off first. Light frosting preferred, because you can eat more of it [14:28].
[15:31] Cheesecake, with receipts. CEELOS makes a good strawberry cheesecake — Philadelphia cream cheese, fresh strawberries chopped in, store-bought crust, no swirl — but makes it rarely because he knows exactly how much sugar is going in. Baked countered with his grandmother's soft gingerbread cookies, which he once over-produced for a catered Christmas party and ended up eating roughly 500 of [16:29].
[18:18] toomazing arrives singing. First happy-birthday of the day goes to toomazing, greeted as "the second biggest space host on Robinhood." He recaps two Spaces the night before: people kept hopping in thinking a big host was actually in the room, and he got gifted an asset to onboard someone with [19:14]. His own framing of the project: "I just wanna do hood rat shit with my friends" [20:25].
[21:27] Alpha first, in the small room. CEELOS noted that Bourbon, the founder, seems to show up in toomazing's small hangout more than the giant Robinhood Space — and toomazing confirmed that the alpha he dropped that morning in the big room had been shared with them first. Also appreciated: Bourbon posting individual community members' PFPs with little backstories.
[23:25] Locked out, blocked by a cat. toomazing stepped out to roll one, felt a key in his pocket, shut the door, and realized it was his car key. His sister was out; the building manager had a copy — but there was a cat parked outside her door. The manager's daughter overheard the whole live-narrated standoff and asked if she could help. He got the key.
[26:23] Drunk stealth physics. Baked described climbing through his own bedroom window at 3am rather than wake his roommates, prompting CEELOS's rebuttal that roommates are getting woken up before he risks a window. The two then agreed on the universal law that every tiny noise you make while trying to be quiet sounds like a car alarm — and that the same noise at 2pm is inaudible.
[29:06] Horror trivia heartbreak. Baked is still not over losing a Leatherface one-of-one in Mechsicko's horror trivia: he buzzed in first, three minutes ahead, with the name of the actress who played Jason's mother instead of the character's name. "A very upsetting day for me, but it is what it is." The room segued into the Peacock Crystal Lake prequel and the reliably missed trivia that Mrs. Voorhees was the original killer.
[41:11] "You never liked the art." On the Blockbeast reveal cooling off, CEELOS named the pattern that gets under his skin — people loudly loving a reveal and quietly selling a week later — and said what he actually wants now is projects that just build and see what comes out, not ones that mine or trade for him.
[48:29] Holder discounts as the obvious unlock. CEELOS's clearest idea of the hour: Creepy Club gave 30% off for connecting your wallet, and he expected that to become the standard. He wants to do the same with his coffee — connect wallet, verify the asset, get 10–15% off — arguing that a discount turns one t-shirt into a shirt and a hat, and gets holders buying gifts for people outside the space.
[57:44] The Shell Me handover. CEELOS read a post aloud: Poppy took the original founder's 250 shells under a promise never to sell, transfer, or trade, moved 40 of his own into the same wallet, and is backing Skip's revival with no equity or partnership. Baked noted the floor moved from about a dollar fifty to seventeen [59:15]; toomazing's question was why those 250 weren't folded into the acquisition in the first place, and CEELOS said he isn't going to pretend to know how other people structure their deals [1:00:15].

Who said what
- CEELOS (@CEELOSFIGG) — Host, birthday boy, running the room from traffic and a farmers-market run. Drove the food tangents, made the case for wallet-connect holder discounts on merch, read the Shell Me post aloud, and closed early because his daughter was blowing up his phone.
- Baked (@Bakedmetax) — Co-host, packing his life into boxes ahead of a move and turning 28 later in the week. Supplied the video-game spending mishap, the vanilla doctrine, the grandmother's gingerbread saga, and the still-fresh horror trivia grievance.
- toomazingTM (@TooMazing265) — Joined at [18:18] singing happy birthday. The accidental Robinhood Space host: shouted out in the big room, getting founder alpha first, sweeping free mints, and holding a firm anti-cat position.
- Pharaoh (@spade_pirates) — Dropped in around [34:50] with the mint details on the auto-minting bot project, a happy birthday for CEELOS [36:43], and the reminder that he'd sent the alpha to the group chat and everyone ignored him [35:37].
Worth a full listen
- [12:24]–[17:44] — The food block. Vanilla, cupcake methodology, cheesecake guilt, and the 500-cookie freezer incident, all delivered completely straight. Summaries flatten it.
- [23:25]–[27:21] — toomazing's locked-out-with-a-cat-in-the-way story and the drunk-window-climbing follow-up, including the manager's daughter overhearing the live commentary.
- [34:50]–[40:28] — Four people simultaneously checking wallets, floors, staking contracts and hidden OpenSea folders in real time. Chaotic, but it's the most honest picture of how the group actually degens together.
