Re:Invigorate With Woof: NFT NYC Day 2 β "Let's Wing It"
Host: Woof (@WoofArmyXX) with cohost Margie B (@MargieAponte2) Β· Tue Sep 1, 2026 Β· 1:19:23 Β· 5 speakers
TL;DR
- No agenda today β Woof scrapped the usual structure and just recapped Day 1 of NFT NYC from a chair out front of his hotel while his wife and friend slept upstairs.
- The big evening ahead: everyone's headed to Jed's restaurant (closed to the public) for a night Jed and Liz have reportedly been planning for weeks, with Jed himself DJing.
- Uncle Corvus announced he'll now host a space every morning at 8:00, an hour before Woof's 9:00, to "warm the crowd up."
- Margie previewed her own 6:30 trivia show that evening β a "Blinded by Love" episode highlighting LMFG's very shy wife, Patricia.
- Nuclear Samurai flagged a Transient Labs event (2β4pm, w/ Ed Balloon) and promised to send Woof the RSVP link.
- Mostly this was a warm, extremely silly hang between regulars β coffee snobbery, chancletas, koalas with Starlink backpacks, and a recurring "them vs. dumb" spelling crisis.
Highlights
[8:12] Uncle Corvus on why he's showing up early. He shared that he's getting more consistent with his own spaces to "get the word of God out," reasoning that "sometimes in life you are the only access to Jesus somebody may have." He said he told his pastor about Woof and Margie's spaces and how much joy they bring him β a genuinely tender beat before the chaos resumed.
[10:07] Woof's old church story. Woof recalled running a men's group at a former church that folded when a visiting pastor "went through all the money." The kicker, delivered deadpan by Margie at [12:05]: the bookkeeper watching the books was the pastor's own wife. "Now everything comes to the light."
[12:24] The "asset" incident. Margie thanked Uncle Corvus for being "an acid to your community," Woof heard "asses," and the whole thing spiraled into a spelling lesson β "A-S-S-E-Tβ¦ I thought you'd like all our asses down here." Uncle Corvus, meanwhile, dropped off with a bad connection having heard only "asses, asses, asses, Australian asses."
[15:27] Airport adventures. Woof narrated the TSA pat-down of his prosthetic ("whoa, hey, that's not the prosthetic") and the flagged pin from his spare liner, plus Meow overflowing a 32oz Yeti with 48oz of water β "Yeah, you're not a little kid at all."
[24:00] Quirkies night and the condoms on the couch. Woof recapped meeting a wall of people (Show, Jed, Liz, Anti, McFly, Rex) and, on the way out, grabbing a condom off the freebie table to hand to Soup: "Here, be safe tonight." Margie's regret at [25:17]: he should've told Soup it was a new kind of edible.
[31:13] Soup living his best life. Margie and Woof marveled at how "Super High Gas Face" (Soup) has come out of his shell β so happy at the bowling alley he sounded "like the most happiest person," giggling like he was inebriated on pure joy. Show reportedly said the same.
[46:17] The jet ski raffle. Uncle Corvus floated a rumor β "don't quote me on that" β that Jed bought everyone a jet ski, which Dan immediately Oprah-fied: "You get a jet ski and you get a jet ski." This landed right as Margie's earlier "you get gonorrhea, you get gonorrhea" mishearing was still hanging in the air.
[1:02:08] The chancleta ballistics briefing. Margie delivered an extended, deeply committed lecture on the aerodynamics of the thrown Latina sandal β it makes turns in the room, finds you under the bed, and lifts the bed to hit you again. Woof confirmed his Polish mother's chancleta could "go around a corner and get me." Nuclear: "You gotta hit him with the flat side."
[1:07:16] Sydney vs. Melbourne, or: Palmer vs. Palmy. Nuclear Samurai and Uncle Corvus revealed the true civil war of Australia isn't the cities β it's whether it's "chicken Palmer" or "chicken Palmy." Uncle Corvus's ruling: "Honestly, it depends how many bees I've had." Nuclear declared them friends.
[1:09:06] Koalas with Starlink. Uncle Corvus claimed he's been texting Elon for two years to strap Starlink backpacks onto koalas for better Wi-Fi coverage. Nuclear approved: "That'll get some pretty good coverage going. You'd outdo Telstra quickly."

Who said what
- Woof (host*: Ran the whole recap solo from a hotel chair β airport misadventures, the Quirkies party, the gutter, 1am pizza, and endless setup for tonight at Jed's. The straight man to Margie's chaos, and repeatedly accused of drinking everyone else's abandoned tequila shots.
- Margie B (cohost*: Comic engine of the room β chancleta ballistics, the "them/dumb"/"asset/asses" spelling disasters, and a full preview of her Patricia trivia episode. Also the tender note-keeper (checking in on Slick Rick, hyping Soup's transformation).
- Uncle Corvus (*: Aussie coffee evangelist and space-warmer; announced his new 8am daily slot, posted vetted NYC specialty-coffee spots, and supplied the koala-Starlink lore. Genuinely moved talking about the community.
- Nuclear Samurai (*: Arrived running on fumes off an LA red-eye; brought the Sydney-vs-Melbourne rivalry, the Palmer/Palmy debate, and the useful stuff β the Transient Labs event details and RSVP link.
- Dan (*: Quietly excited attendee driving in with his wife for Jed's tonight; delivered the "you get a jet ski" bit and asked the truly important question β "What kind of coffee is that?"
Worth a full listen
- [1:02:08]β[1:10:34] β The chancleta-to-koala stretch is the room at full silliness: sandal aerodynamics, the Sydney/Melbourne "civil war," Palmer vs. Palmy, and Elon's koala Wi-Fi fleet. No summary captures the escalation.
- [35:12]β[38:56] β "Soup didn't think you'd be funny," followed by the recurring them/dumb spelling meltdown that everyone gleaned into. A running bit that pays off.
- [1:16:50]β[1:19:23] β Margie's closing monologue (down your gifted Aluha shots, dance off the alcohol, and the plan for Woof to panhandle with his prosthetic leg as a donation cup) is a perfect distillation of the whole hour.
