TL;DR

Highlights

[24:52] The great audio meltdown. For a solid stretch listeners could hear everyone except the host. Cue emoji verification tests ("Poncho, if you can hear us, do emoji"), the discovery that "it's only the host" who's cutting out, and Ace's immortal contribution to the diagnostics: "I need more coffee inside me." A whole spotlight nearly derailed by X's plumbing, played for laughs.

[30:18] Jed on the "other side." Jed floated opening a metaverse space for region owners — likely Thursday/Friday — and wants Ghoston, who knows the platform, to lead building it out as a hangout with special perks for holders who can't make it to the physical restaurant.

[34:56] Baked's ReGenerates recap. Picking up "from December 2024," Baked framed the collection as his "home project": basically a free mint that's grown to a comfortable ~0.06 by "building new things to bring more fun and more info to Web3," and by bonding with other communities rather than walling off.

[45:44] The restaurant vision. Jed's big segment: a scannable secret site, coasters with QR codes to onboard "normies," secret menu items, and — the real alpha — team allocations. Hold 15–20 regens and your community gets table seats at token-gated events (his example: a 70-seat Gary V night). He also pitched his "Ape Fest should've been Coachella" theory: put the exclusive section in plain sight so outsiders feel the FOMO. [51:59] Non-crypto guests could even buy a Stripe membership pegged to the regen floor.

[53:20] The McFly tribute. The mood turned as Jed shared that McFly lost his brother the previous day at the restaurant — "highest high to the lowest low in a split second." He and Ace both reflected that McFly being surrounded by people that night mattered: "I believe everything happens for a reason."

[1:00:48] Time as an asset. Jed relayed a line from Bored Osaka that landed hard: time isn't your most valuable asset — what you do with it is. Ace answered in kind with "any day above ground is a good day," and Jed capped it with his 13-year-old daughter's salutatorian bit about never judging a book by its cover, chapters and all.

[1:03:12] A trade offered. Before dropping, Jed told Baked that for all the work he does for the project, he'd trade him one of his two punk-background regens — the exact trait Baked had been hunting.

[1:17:11] Crystals vs. diamonds. Bored Osaka and Ace got into it (warmly): why kings and queens didn't actually wear diamonds, how a diamond chain "amplifies your aura," the six-foot "biomagnetic sheath" around each person, and why Bored Osaka keeps "my bling on the inside" at the heart chakra.

[1:27:03] Coffee corner. Ace unveiled his mobile coffee cart, "Crystal Bruce," and geeked out on single-origin roast windows and arabica vs. robusta — meeting his match in Bored Osaka, who ran the first African American–owned specialty coffee chain in Seattle twenty years ago and name-dropped David Schomer and his beloved La Marzocco gear.

[1:47:11] The soundboard show. Ace's Rodcaster demo became the comedic peak — playing commercials, accidentally cueing the last rap song he'd been listening to ("We was in the trap house"), and patiently tech-splaining MIDI channels until Bored Osaka begged him to "speak to me as if I'm my five year old self." Practical takeaway buried in the chaos: music sounds terrible piped through soundboards on Spaces, so switch your phone to "wide spectrum."

[1:58:39] Valerie's pool life. Valerie revealed she's a serious pool player in Vegas — cutthroat tournaments where losing the break means "getting sent to tables to get murdered" — and that she learned cue control and English from Don Haskins, the UTEP coach famous for starting Black athletes, who taught her on commercial breaks while she bartended.
