TL;DR

Highlights

[2:29] Back on schedule. Doomsayers (Jay) opened "Weekly Doom" after a missed week, with Speaker 8 admitting the gap left her in "a frenzy" β€” she needs the show "to anchor me into reality." Sirski welcomed the Twisted Tweaks crew for a long-awaited joint sesh.

[4:32] Doom news. Jay ran the week: airdrops for 1% holders (the "Doom World" cover just heard, a 15-piece drop), records for holders of six or more Dooms, and "life support" airdropped to everyone on Base by the weekend. Trade night lands Aug 20, co-hosted by Decapination/Avoid. Sirski added the Aug 26 one-year anniversary and the Sept 1 Void event.

[10:16] Tweak news. Chumwizards explained the Twisted Tweaks mechanics: buy one off the floor and get a fresh, never-held airdrop; or gift a tweak to onboard a friend without losing your own. He also flagged the weekly design magazine (Tuesdays, aimed at artist discovery) and the artist-of-the-month drop featuring Chombo on the 25th.

[16:10] The Sprite Hood rug. Crypfu brought up the 44k Sprite Hood mint that reportedly rugged; Sirski tied it to Cole, an early Pudgy Penguins founder booted for what the room summarized as embezzlement. The group lamented that a known bad actor could still sell out instantly β€” a springboard into a longer riff on DYOR dying and people blindly copy-trading influencers.

[28:13] Keys on "statues." Keys argued NFTs can become "statues" that coast on legacy, and praised Doomsayers for evolving instead β€” Bloodsayers, holder drops, music. His thesis: in a shrinking-attention market you win by holding your DNA while still refining, not copying, since "when you copy somebody else their work is your ceiling." [32:26]

[32:26 / 35:03] The "fresh meat" bit. Keys framed the Robin Hood wave as finally bringing new people into the space β€” "fresh meat." Speaker 8 ran with it into an exit-liquidity deadpan ("we've been waiting for some fresh meat… you're going down"), and Keys painted the image of "a hungry pack of savages at the bottom of the cave" with food dangled on a rope [36:30]. Chum steered it back to a real point: the room needs to "break out of the silo" and give outsiders products they can actually enjoy [36:38].

[41:30 β†’ 57:56] Unvault & Divot. Sirski, Thanos, and Keys dug into Unvault β€” a fresh omnichain contract that lets a collection pick which chains it lives on (bridge once, toggle Robin Hood/Ethereum), plus the idea of member projects forming an ecosystem under Anvil. They walked through Divot, which lets founders route royalties to reward on-chain behavior (Kaito-style) rather than "giving away shit to give away shit." Keys voiced cautious optimism, wary of the pace of three back-to-back launches; Thanos vouched for the devs (Simple Farmer, Hirsch).

[1:09:08 β†’ 1:16:00] Getting physical. On what "utility" should actually mean now, the room converged on scalable, real-world products separate from the finite main collection β€” Corky's trading cards and Shredding Sassys' sticker packs + rewards token as models, plus Web2 presence (Giphy, Γ  la Pudgy Penguins) and merch. Morgan's ask: "I would kill for a Doomsayer skateboard."

[1:17:34] Bloodsayers wrap. Sirski closed with logistics: 2.0s still mintable on Manifold ahead of the Sept 1 Void event; the Doomsayer you send in doesn't affect the Bloodsayer you get, so "send your zero, not your hero." [1:18:52] The hosts floated making the Tweaks collab a monthly thing.
