Touch Base $WIFB — Ambassador Rewards, and a Pokémon Detour

TL;DR

Highlights

[5:02] The Bow Ambassador program, explained. Kitty laid out the setup: applicants join a Telegram, earn points for simple activity (saying hello, voting, liking, articles, inviting real people), and level up through tiers worth $5 to $30 a month in rewards. Some ambassadors had already complained it was "too much work," so she wanted trusted friends to sanity-check the design.

[11:00] Waldo's crew crashes the party. Speaker 9 announced Waldo had just ended his own Space and sent everyone over "to thumb you down" — then admitted after three downvotes "this feels bad" and switched to hearts. Waldo followed with the story of Kitty wandering into his Space "with your little kitty voice" and stealing the whole room: "damn, I love kitty so much… the show's over, get the fuck out, go to kitty's house."

[11:56] The burger indictment. Burger reported that Waldo had "called me stupid and he said my burger was dumb," conceding the burger is, in fact, microwaveable. This spiraled into a forensic debate over whether the sticker-art burger contains tomato or merely ketchup. ("It's catch up.")

[15:27] "People fucking hate point systems." Burger gave his blunt five-years-in-crypto take: find any mechanism other than points. If you must, hide the points inside a worthless soul-bound token so at least it isn't called points.

[17:14] keRRy's point-system PTSD. keRRy backed Burger with feeling — points "never turn into tokens," and he's been burned enough to be "old school, jaded, a prick" about them. He floated a raffle/ticket model as fairer, since straight points let the same whales win every time.

[26:39] Don't bleed your own bag. Burger and Waldo aligned hard on treasury discipline: Burger's given away "hundreds, if not thousands of dollars of burgers" and it only pushed his chart down; Waldo said giving out too much project supply cost him "a fuck ton," and he'd only ever reward in ETH or USDC now.

[28:11] Waldo's NFT case. As a middle path, Waldo suggested handing out project NFTs (floor ~$40) instead of tokens — a dumped NFT finds a real buyer, and the wait teaches ambassadors patience in "a game where everyone wants everything immediately."

[33:49] The soul-bound scoreboard, mechanics. Burger and Waldo walked Kitty through the actual build: mint an infinite, unpaired ERC-20 via banker bot, weight it by tasks completed ("you do 10 of 10, Burger does two of 10"), then read the holder list on Basescan and pay out matching USD by hand.

[36:28] Dev wants to send it to zero. Waldo went full villain-dev bit — pair the reward token to $for(reals), then "I will fUD my own project… I want to send this shit to zero," scoop 98% of supply, and everyone keeps five tokens each. "It's gonna take us ten years, but now you're all happy as hell."

[37:20 → 44:00] The Space Pikachu / ditto saga. Kitty's excitement over a Pokémon Go "Space Pikachu" skin turned into Waldo declaring it the new reward meta, then an extended, deadpan Viridian Forest narration about a lonely trainer, a ditto, Nurse Joy, and inevitable Poké-jail. The room begged for a clip; a passing account ("crypto for impact") wandered in mid-fleshlight-discussion and, per Burger, promptly wandered back out.

[50:48] Kip's Zora idea. Late guest "Kip" (Capstiller)* brought the conversation back to business: tokenize each fragrance product on Zora, keep the initial 10M supply to control the floor, and gate perks — "if you hold this token you get 10% off" — turning purchases into on-chain loyalty data that could even signal the best time to run a sale. Kitty (whose Duck Therapist is the project dev) said she'd genuinely look into it.
