Re:Envisioning Web3 — Motivational Monday: swamp land, co-op boards, and the great bandwagon Bills investigation
Host: Lyss (@Lysss302) with co-hosts Jed (@jed_131) and Burningbush (@BurningBush_eth) · Mon, Sept 14, 2026 · 54:30 · ~10 speakers
TL;DR
- Jed finally cleared the co-op board and is closing on a three-bedroom in New York — the news he'd been clenching his jaw over for months [3:28].
- Jed reported that after an hour-long conversation with Adam at Sunday's dinner, De Stefano's is getting built in the swamp on Otherside — Adam offered a plot for free and offered to fund the build. The idea was originally zGhostin's, and he gets to pick the plot [13:21].
- Regen Gate Night is set for Thursday 7pm, then every other week, pending approval on the Ape Chain/Otherside calendar [15:47].
- Franklin thanked the room for the Chimps weekend in NYC — De Stefano's stretched a Saturday brunch slot to 5pm and nobody got kicked out [17:34].
- Jed announced plans for a first community Discord VC/AMA this month, with a standing invitation to anyone holding one Regen or twenty [47:27].
- Tomorrow's Re:Envisioning Web3 at noon will be hosted by Wolf, part of an ongoing experiment in handing the mic to guest hosts [52:18].
Highlights
[3:28] Jed's co-op saga ends. After a "long treacherous road" with the board, he's got the place: three bedroom, two bath, en suite, doesn't even need a paint job, New York, $400k. His summary of the feeling: "I can unclench my jaw now." He followed it with a recap of the previous night's dinner, which stayed professional until Adam left and then became professional again because everyone just talked about work anyway.
[4:54] The scandal. Jed and Burningbush revealed their big investigative find: Wolf, a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan at home, LARPs as a Bills fan online — confirmed, allegedly, by his own wife. Burningbush positioned himself as the Zach XBT of Web3 and declared due diligence services the newest perk of holding a Regen [6:25]. Two minutes later he was floating a story about Sho's former life in a biker gang, which Sho declined to confirm or deny beyond "that's his story" [7:52].
[11:58] zGhostin on new blood. Ghostin welcomed Dort to the Regens — an ape holder since mint who wanted a Regen that matched his ape and finally found one through JYR's wallet. Jed lit up at the name: an OG who never left, captain of Vibe Town, exactly the type of quality person he wants the community growing with [29:25].
[13:21] The swamp. Jed's favorite news of the night: he pitched Adam on building De Stefano's in the swamp — the premium land on Otherside — and got told to pick any plot he wanted, no charge, with a funding offer attached. He handed the plot selection straight back to Ghostin, whose idea it was. Ghostin, who actually plays daily, confirmed: "that's actually huge" [14:12].
[17:34] Franklin's debrief. Franklin said the Chimps weekend blew past every expectation, especially given how spontaneously it came together, and described the moment he looked at the clock at 3:30 and realized the brunch was half an hour over — followed by relief when Jed and Lyss told him to stay. Lyss sent it back with interest [20:59], telling him to look in the mirror and admit he crushed it, and noting she felt zero salt about him winning the Regen she'd been in the running for.
[25:02] Celeste reports from the future. Broadcasting from an already-underway Tuesday, Celeste tallied four back-to-back Spaces, Discords, artwork and a jam session with Burningbush, and arrived "super low." Burningbush issued the correction of the night [26:12]: low on energy, not on vibes. She then opened up about working on speaking in public in a language that isn't her first — she's strong writing, still building confidence talking — and Sho and Jed both jumped in to tell her she's doing fine [31:39].
[33:25] The De Stefano's song. Jed told Piff that after the co-op news he went to his parents' place and read them Piff's post about visiting the restaurant, then played his song — and it landed with both of them, exactly the way his dad needed to hear Web3 explained. Piff explained he wrote the track before ever setting foot inside, working only from the website, the community and secondhand descriptions [34:14]. Lyss then confessed that on her birthday at a lounge in Astoria at 3am she requested it and the DJ played the whole thing [35:14] — Jed, mid-hookah, heard the opening line and wondered briefly whether he'd died.
[38:20] The bacon and the pork chop. Sho's theory that Piff was speechless at the restaurant because his mouth and pockets were full of bacon led to Piff confirming he did in fact request to-go bacon for breakfast and did not make it back to the room with it. Lyss used the opening to campaign for the underrated pork chop [39:49] — normally a menu item she'd fade herself — reporting that Jed sent a couple out free to skeptical guests on Saturday and they were demolished.
[41:42] Never again, Lower East Side. Piff's 2am walk over the bridge, undertaken because he couldn't sleep, turned into a sequence of encounters he checked twice to make sure was okay to describe on air. Verdict: daytime bridge walks only from now on, and next trip he's staying near Times Square.
[46:38] Lyss is skipping Ape Fest for football. Her favorite part of everyone asking whether she'll be at Ape Fest is getting to explain that Cortez gifted her tickets to see the Bills in Vegas that same weekend. Super closed the space by defending his own Bills credentials against the bandwagon allegations [49:14], which Jed immediately rewarded with a helmet joke.

Who said what
- Lyss (@Lysss302) — host; ran the check-ins, gave Franklin his flowers, sold the pork chop harder than anyone has ever sold a pork chop, and revealed she's trading Ape Fest for a Bills game in Vegas.
- Jed (@jed_131) — co-host; co-op win, the Otherside swamp deal with Adam, the Wolf investigation, and a call for a first community Discord VC this month.
- Burningbush (@BurningBush_eth) — co-host and self-appointed Web3 investigative reporter; also building alien "Ned" lore, running weekly Bills game recaps, and keeping the vibes/energy distinction alive.
- zGhostin (@zGhostin) — onboarded Dort, originated the swamp-plot idea, and is handling Gate Night logistics and the Otherside calendar submission.
- FranklinChiqui.chimp (@FranklinChiqui) — organizer of the Chimps NYC weekend; thanked the hosts, praised the Regens' community platform, and pitched NYC as a home base for collectible meetups.

Worth a full listen
- [33:03]–[38:06] — The Piff/Jed/Lyss exchange about the De Stefano's song. Jed reading the post to his parents, Piff explaining he built the whole track from a website and secondhand stories, and the 3am Astoria DJ request — the summary flattens what's actually a very warm ten minutes.
- [41:42]–[44:43] — Piff's uninterrupted account of the 2am bridge walk. It has to be heard in his own delivery, pauses and mid-story "wait, is this recorded?" included.
- [25:02]–[32:31] — Celeste's check-in and the group's response. What starts as a tired sign-off turns into her talking about Shakespeare, Hindi, and doing the thing you're scared of anyway, and the room answering in kind.
