How Different NFTs Have Impacted Our Lives

Host: Superhighgasfees (@SHGFees) with cohost Sho (@AgogoKaren) · Sun, 06 Sep 2026 · ~1h30m · ~11 speakers

TL;DR

Highlights

[4:06] Super opens with "different energy." The host kicks off vowing to retire the "GMGM monotone" for good, shouts out a big sweep from Captain Kev, and immediately gets heckled by the room when he invites Coach up.

[12:12] The City of STONKS NYC saga. Jed teases it as "the craziest story I've ever heard," and City of STONKS delivers: a camera bag forgotten in an Uber, a felt wizard hat bought off a bum (and re-tipped a fair $20), a pizza never fully eaten, a punch that landed "the smallest little scratch" on his chin, and a police report that ended with "10 cop cars rolled up, arrested his ass." [16:24] His verdict: "I got a crazy fucking marketing campaign, and he got served his fucking justice."

[23:19] De Stefano's forensics. Sam and Super bond over the restaurant's mac and cheese tasting "kind of like a little funny" — specifically "like corn" — while the table's real consensus is that the bacon turns grown men feral. Coach later proposes just bringing the whole pig out.

[24:16] Sam the firefighter. Jed reframes everyone's "couldn't show up" excuses: "Sam works 24 hours... you're the firefighter." Sam promises to haunt Sho and Coach from the other side of his shift schedule, which Coach warmly requests he do to both of them, being prone to loneliness.

[34:22] Super on NFTs as lifestyle. The host's centerpiece: getting his first Doodle changed how he dressed and what he listened to, and being face-to-face with Poppy, Pips, Maha, Liz and Jed in NYC left "a print" on him. He argues good NFTs are true lifestyle brands whose art, people and vibe seep into your life.

[41:18] Maha on being yourself. Maha's heartfelt turn: IRL you "can't hide behind a facade," and thanks to the Regen fireside chats he stopped keeping a persona — "there's not much of a difference between super high online and super high in person, which is fucking amazing."

[54:21] The <3 reveal. Host guesses the name "LT3" (less-than-three) means two people completing a heart — "low-key beautiful," Super admits — before revealing the real, much dumber origin: typing < then 3 on a phone draws a heart. Coach and Maha lose it, and the room instantly workshops it into a hoodie-sleeve logo.

[1:03:57] Tim's grounded take. Between bites of top ramen, Tim admits "this whole thing is about losing money" — everything he bought rugged — but the friendships, the courage to meet his neighbors after 11 years, and the shift he's felt are the point: "It's been a lot less of a money grab... more about people protecting people and communities projecting what they really want to get out there into the world." He also pitches a Top Ramen NFT that airdrops noodles from a drone.

[1:11:00] Molly on what NFTs gave her. The artist from Morocco walks through her marathon drawing days and lands the Space's most affecting note: NFTs taught her English, gave her a job, a community, and an art studio of her own — and she rarely feels she's lost money because "I always take something with me that will stay."

[1:24:55] Lee wins the under-10s. The closing bit: Lee reports winning a golf tournament that morning — "for the kids under 10" — where "I dressed up as a child, I had to play on my knees," a merciful break from the adult tournaments where he plays on another kid's shoulders in a trench coat.
