Birthday PrepπŸŽ‰ β€” Fuggerz Chit-Chat πŸ•

Host: Fugettes (@fugettes, "May June") with Jose (@Yoshi_3000) as accidental co-host Β· Thu 17 Sep 2026 Β· 2:04:30 Β· ~7 active speakers

TL;DR

Highlights

[13:43] The apology for the third song that didn't happen. After a 13-minute run of Fugs-themed AI tracks β€” a sorority-scroll anthem, a Miami-shirt degenerate ballad, and Herschel with a shotgun defending his chocolate cows β€” the host came back breathless from running upstairs, having been in two spaces at once, and admitted she'd lied about the "one last one."

[26:00] The Fug giveaway rules. The headline prize for the anniversary is a Fug, and she was blunt about how it'll be awarded: entries stack for speaking, commenting and reposting, but showing up once for a retweet won't cut it. "I need to see people active, I need to see people supporting" β€” she plans to write down names and PFPs across all three spaces.

[39:42] Alpha guesses, entirely unofficial. With the host under NDA and visibly enjoying it, the room filled the vacuum: pixelated Fugs, a Fortnite collab, and Mullet's theory that GTA 6 got delayed to add Fugs. She has apparently already commented "FUGTA 6" on one of Yacht's teasers, so the lore writes itself.

[46:00] Jose's actual backstory. Asked point-blank to introduce himself, Jose gave the most substantive stretch of the Space: in crypto since 2016, through the 2021 NFT run, laid off from a tech job mid-interview-process for another, and he chose to go all-in on crypto instead β€” "just as the market was crashing." He's now CEO of Burb and says the people who stay through bear markets are the ones he wants to know.

[56:50] The origin of the shitter soundbite. Sho told the story the host tried to tell herself: long ago, running late to a space, she explained why out loud, and Lee's soundboard now immortalizes it. The host's defense β€” that she said she was shitting, past tense, not that she was mid-event β€” collapsed into a tongue twister she could not escape for the next hour, and the PFP to match is now pinned.

[1:12:22] Stu's board game, which ran a little long. Stu explained Quakey's Adventure β€” a physical board game he designed with his nine-year-old daughter, hand-drawn when she was seven, with AR activation, custom everything, ~150 of 500 copies sold at toy conventions, and an eight-book character series planned. His daughter routinely beats him.

[1:18:41] Jay resets the room. "Check your text messages real quick" β€” then, politely, "reading the room, birthday prep, birthday prep. So what's going on here?" Apologies flew in every direction, Jose confessed it was his first time co-hosting, and the host insisted she was genuinely interested and that it saved her half an hour of DMs. Stu's shilling anxiety became the room's newest running bit.

[1:24:11] Burning Bush arrives with a soundboard. Minutes after Sho warned newcomers never to use soundboards in Lee's spaces, Jose invited Lee up β€” soundboard included β€” and the room was immediately narrated by clips of "This is so boring, what are we doing?" and "I'm literally sitting on the toilet." He'd slipped out the back door of another space to check on everyone.

[1:30:48] Angel escapes the dungeon; Burning Bush claims him. Angel came home from his haircut and was promptly serenaded β€” "Angel! FIFA, FIFA!" β€” after one offhand mention that he'd been playing FIFA earned him a new superfan. Lee also volunteered that he has two biology degrees and a stack of gopher facts the host declined to appreciate, then debuted a curated birthday song she thumbs-downed in real time.

[1:37:28] The part that wasn't a joke. Jay said he prefers smaller spaces β€” no brown-nosing, nobody fighting for the mic. Sho and the host both built on it: the cluster of communities they move between (Fugs, Quirkies, LT3, Regions, Kabu) has left the egos at the door in a way 2021 never did, and cross-community support has replaced the scramble for attention. That thread ran straight into IRL events, the NYC event Sho worked the check-in desk for, ApeFest, and Miami.
