Re:Building Together EP 315 — Let The Good Times Roll
Host: CEELOS (@CEELOSFIGG) · Sun, 06 Sep 2026 · 1:13:34 · 5 speakers
TL;DR
- A low-key Sunday hangout with no real agenda — CEELOS hosted the entire hour while walking to the store, grabbing beers for his brother, and (barely) catching a train.
- Baked (@Bakedmetax) spent the space trading Solana meme coins to build a bag for the NFTs he actually wants, while the crew mint-sniped a pile of freebies that will almost certainly never reveal.
- Long stretch of drinking-and-hangover stories, capped by Solo dolo (@solodolo) quietly marking two years of sobriety.
- Val (@valeriekates_) recapped her New York/Quirkies trip — meeting Wolf, Meow, and Show, and being too in-her-head to introduce herself.
- CEELOS and Baked flagged some "regen-related business" (meme-prompt work) to hash out in Discord, plus Wednesday NFT staking to claim vintage Pokémon cards.
Highlights
[1:56] "Boys only" opening. CEELOS kicks off episode 315 solo with Baked, narrating the whole thing as he walks out the door to run an errand for his brother — who handed him cash for beer, hence the grocery-store-then-train-station odyssey that becomes the episode's spine. Rain killed his skate plans, and it's "hot, sticky, and wet" Florida-style weather transplanted to LA.
[7:29] Baked's house hunt. Baked is waiting on an application for a four-bed, two-and-a-half bath, which sparks a tangent on the little indignities of moving — including CEELOS's genuine fixation on the first time you have to "drop a deuce" on a foreign toilet in a new place.
[24:23] The grandpa origin story. Baked recounts his first real drink at fifteen — vanilla vodka with his cousin, then patrón shots handed over by his grandfather, an old Marine, at a family party. It rolls straight into the grandpa's standing request [25:26]: at his funeral, Baked has to stand up and tell everyone to bury him upside down "so they can all kiss his ass goodbye." He's still alive and reminds Baked every year.
[31:18] Val's lit lunches. Val clarifies she wasn't fired for the drinking itself — she self-sabotaged after a kid was hit on the sidewalk outside the medical office and management refused to point a camera at the street to help. Her exit included a scorching Google review and a report to Nevada's continuing-medical-education board over doctors clocking credits they never watched.
[29:29] Two years sober. Solo dolo drops in to note it's his sobriety anniversary — two years — and the room gives him his due before the drinking banter rolls on around him.
[58:35] The New York recap. Val walks through meeting the community IRL at the Quirkies event — Show as the door greeter, and a socially-on-fire Wolf who insisted she couldn't leave without saying hi to Meow before she snuck off. She admits she now freezes up at events and gets in her own head, a far cry from her old fearless-with-a-camera self.
[1:00:02] Young Odin. Asked whether Wolf smelled like Axe body spray and had "long luscious hair" like Thor, CEELOS pulls up a photo and upgrades the comparison: "he looks like a young Odin."
[1:08:00] The crypto arena rescue. toomazingTM (@TooMazing265) finally joins to explain the running "he saved my ass" bit: he got to a card-only arena with only cash, faced a 15–20 minute walk to a Bank of America, and instead called Solo to Zelle-for-cash on arrival — after which Solo hugged him like he'd done the favor. CEELOS narrates the whole thing as a hostile takeover of gratitude.
[1:12:11] Swag, then Riz. Wrapping up outside his mom's house, CEELOS riffs on his little brother's lifelong charisma ("getting hit on by 40-year-olds at eleven"), lands on "that's what we used to call swag, now it's Riz," and hands the linguistics baton to 27-year-old Baked — who defers to the Rizzler [1:13:25].
