TL;DR

Highlights

[8:00] Showing up on a hard day. Jed opened with a tribute to Lyss for hosting despite something heavy going on off-mic. Lyss deflected it into the space's ethos: "It's not an excuse not to show up — if anything, it's an excuse for us to come together and reconnect."

[10:09] Jed's no-regrets doctrine. Jed set the tone by refusing to change a thing — "if I changed anything, who knows? I wouldn't be here right now" — crediting every rough chapter for making him who he is. His one joke concession: he wishes Pranksy had shown him a Bored Ape at 0.3.

[11:42] Sho pulls up a chair at the regen table. After Jed promised steaks (not whale treatment) for the regens, Sho climbed on stage — "All right, I'm at the table then" — and echoed the theme: she'd keep every mistake, because faded-out earlier wouldn't have gotten her here.

[17:34] Margie B's account hack. Margie B recounted losing her original account to a voting-link scam and nine hours of panic that she'd never get back on X — followers come and go, but her voice mattered more. Lyss turned it into a PSA: revoke access, ignore DMs asking you to vote, and kick the old account from your group chats [23:27].

[29:42] Tim on being in the community you buy into. Tim's honest answer: as an early lurker he never talked to founders, and the projects that rugged were usually led by people with no track record for what they promised. His fix now — know the founder, be part of it before you invest.

[41:05] ANTI: you can't research your way in. ANTI described launching with a solid business plan and zero cultural fluency and getting "completely destroyed emotionally, financially." Jed agreed that this space, unlike most industries, can't be understood from the outside — "I don't think you could do research on here without being here."

[44:37] Maha, king of the cabal, on time. Maha's regret wasn't any single call but the pace itself — pushing product faster than needed. The best projects, he said, keep their foot on the gas "the right way," ship with intention, and don't burn out their teams; a restaurant's reputation, like Jed's, can't be purchased.

[1:00:13] The slab-as-meat saga. ANTI's genuine confusion about what a graded card "slab" is spiraled into a full bit: vacuum-seal a prime ribeye, PSA-grade it, mount it on the steakhouse wall, and randomly slip a "grail" slab into a "cardwall ribeye" order. Tataka volunteered to actually bring a stack of slabs to the dinner.

[1:17:42] Cab's Claynosaurz post-mortem. Cab was the room's most concrete "what I'd change": the Game Loft video game was a heavy lift they weren't built for before the story was even figured out, and early one-off collectibles muddied the collector map. His frameworks: mistakes are "education equity," and "hire slow, fire quickly."

[1:24:23] Super's fumble. Prompted by Cab, Super confessed the real one — the team had genuine momentum on TikTok and Instagram, got burnt out, stopped posting, and has struggled to win it back. Cab's advice: when something's working, double down and get help rather than let it lapse.
