GGs Level 20 — The Hill You Will Die On (and Happy Two Years)
Hosted by BubbaGump (@BubbaGumpNCX) on the @NinjaCatLive account with Code.E (@CodeeNCX) co-hosting · Tue 22 Sep 2026 · 1:58:52 · 8 speakers
TL;DR
- Ninja Cat quietly hit its two-year anniversary — and nearly missed it. Bubba and Code.E worked out mid-space that it was the 20th or 21st, "either or, either way" [4:52], and the room turned the back half into a toast.
- Topic of the night: the hill you'll die on. Answers landed on integrity, accountability, core values, and not compromising who you are for a pay bump.
- Wednesday's stream is stacked: Upshot pack rips with packs to give away [14:31], and a new live alert system that pings the stream whenever a Tribe Called Rex is revealed, so reveals can be watched live [16:01]. Rivals is back in the mix too. Friday: Space Riders.
- NoCredits announced on the way out: reveal a Rex live on Wednesday's stream, prove it's yours, and one name gets drawn out of the hat for a free unrevealed [1:53:54].
- The last question — "a line you crossed that you'd never cross again" — turned into an escalating confession round: cigarettes through customs, a check stop, a driveway breathalyzer, a Cadillac hood ornament, and a bag of army men in a hedge.
- Peanut volun-told a list of future stream guests (Quanta / Quantum Biosis, Casino Society via Zee, Bull Bears, Belzura) and was rebranded Pimp Nut for his trouble [1:39:48].
Highlights
[4:52] Two years, discovered by accident. Code.E opened with "just celebrating a freaking fabulous two frickin' years," and Bubba took several seconds to catch up. The running joke — that a little heads-up on the space topic and the anniversary would've been nice — set the tone for a night that was more living-room than launch event.
[14:31] / [16:01] The week ahead. Bubba walked through the new Upshot affiliate segment (rip packs live, some with real cash value, plenty to give away) and then the piece he's clearly most hyped about: a site Papa Bear and the Tribe Called Rex side built that fires an alert into the stream whenever a Rex is revealed, no matter what scene is up. He admitted he's been leaving it running while he works just to click through and watch strangers' boxes shake.
[18:34] The NoCredits theory of teamwork. Asked to take credit, NoCredits laid out the actual workflow: he has a great idea, tells Papa Bear, and Papa Bear has already built a better version over the last two days. "So yeah, it was definitely my idea." Bubba confirmed he has the exact same relationship with Wander.
[25:16] Integrity, defined with a stopwatch. NoCredits gave the most concrete answer of the night, from a course he took 20 years ago: integrity isn't just keeping your word, it's flagging the break the moment you know. Telling someone at 11:20 that you'll be ten minutes late — not at 12:03, after they've run red lights to make 11:59.
[26:54] / [29:57] Accountability, and where it came from. Code.E stacked accountability next to integrity, tying it to how Ninja Cat handles a stream that breaks: be open, take it, reschedule. Then he traced it home — growing up with a parent who never owned a mistake, and deciding not to copy-paste that into his own life. Ava followed [32:43] with a grade-one lie so small she can't remember it, caught within minutes, and a resolve she's kept since: she's a terrible liar and intends to stay that way.
[35:19] The customer named Ted. Bubba's excuse-making era ended in a shop, at volume, with a six-foot-five Canadian who didn't care about a single reason the car wasn't done — he just wanted a date. "Friday. Okay, thank you. Have a good day." They became friends. Bubba stopped making excuses.
[41:44] Walking away from the best job he was good at. Code.E's answer to "what would make you walk away from a big opportunity" was core values, and he had receipts: awards, a written recommendation from a warden, tasks nobody had been given before, working off the floor in a maximum security prison. It still wasn't an environment he could stay himself inside of — "eventually you become who your environment is. Ask me how I know."
[48:27] Screen time, adjudicated live. Bubba confidently challenged his wife to open screen time side by side. She averaged five hours daily. He averaged thirteen. He reported this as a humbling, which it was. It also perfectly illustrated NoCredits' point a minute earlier [46:xx-ish, from his answer] that the cure for stubbornness is someone who will call you on your nonsense — "and that's why we often marry them."
[58:57] Small potatoes. Code.E recalled a saying on a classroom wall inside the jail: you can tell the size of a man by the size of the problem he lets bother him. He applied it to getting cut off in traffic with your kids in the car — is that really the hill, and do you want them watching you die on it? Bubba conceded the point, mostly, before admitting four-way stops still get him going.
[1:15:59] The army men in the hedge. NoCredits' confession, and the one nobody topped: at six or seven he told a classmate his birthday was tomorrow. It wasn't. The kid showed up with a wrapped gift — a plastic bag of army men, the perfect present — and NoCredits, realizing he could never explain it at home, stuffed it into a hedge he then had to walk past for years. He also never told anyone his real birthday again. Code.E [1:18:03] and Peanut [1:20:17] followed with check-stop and driveway-breathalyzer stories, and Bubba contributed an entirely fictitious tale about possibly one fish too many.
[1:39:48] Pimp Nut. After Peanut spent several minutes connecting the stream to half the space, StarDawgs proposed the obvious title — NFT pimp — complete with an animated avatar, cane and pimp walk. Peanut revealed he already owns a Mr. Peanut NFT with top hat and cane on the XRP ledger. NoCredits closed the loop [1:42:48] by suggesting everyone's been spelling the handle wrong: the P stands for pimp.
[1:43:56] The toast. Code.E's anniversary words were the sincere beat of the night — a year of finding a purpose, heads-down building, and gratitude for doing it beside the team. Ava added she's proud and slightly annoyed they only clocked the date during the space itself. Peanut [1:47:15] closed with a warning about the noise: plenty launching right now, most of it won't be here in three months, so keep your priorities and your people close. Bubba: "I call that the noise."

Who said what
- BubbaGump — host and question-asker; ran the topic, the week's schedule, and volunteered the most self-incriminating material (excuses, hood ornament, umpire handshake, 13 hours of screen time). Core values are his hill, admirable and non-stop specifically.
- Code.E — co-host, reporting from the construction site with trusses up and a roof looming; made accountability and core values his hill, and brought the prison-job and check-stop stories that gave the topic weight.
- Ava — anchored the values conversation in childhood: an honest mom, a manipulative dad, one grade-one lie that cured her for life. Also nine months smoke-free, and once keyed her own full initials into a neighbor's beloved car.
- NoCredits — the night's MVP on definitions (integrity, being called out) and on comic timing; announced the Wednesday reveal giveaway and confirmed the reveal alerts are working.
- Peanut — dialed in from a Planet Fitness with no headphones, blasting the space at full volume, no regrets; later played matchmaker for future stream guests and delivered the closing message about not losing sight of priorities.
- Padz — came up for manners, and the thought experiment where holding a door and getting no thank-you is replayed with a medieval poleaxe in hand; also wants an EMP and a drone launcher on his e-bike.
- StarDawgs — dropped in from work with the suit-and-tie-every-meeting philosophy (which visibly worked on Bubba during their call), and coined the NFT pimp / matchmaker bit.
Worth a full listen
- [1:12:32]–[1:31:41] — the confession round. Peanut's rule that each story has to escalate, NoCredits' army men, Code.E's check stop, Ava's teddy bear, Bubba's legally-distinct fish story. The summary flattens the timing; the escalation is the joke.
- [24:49]–[38:18] — the actual substance of the topic. Integrity, accountability and where each person's version of it came from, delivered without a hint of green-candle talk, which Code.E flags himself at [38:25] as exactly why he likes these conversations.
- [1:39:48]–[1:43:18] — the Pimp Nut sequence, from StarDawgs' suggestion through Peanut revealing he already commissioned the cane-and-top-hat NFT, to NoCredits' spelling correction.
