Hosts in control, clips on request, and rooms nobody recorded

• NEWCreative control before anything posts: For hosts who subscribe, and our founding hosts, the recap waits until the host has read the write-up, asked for changes, picked the tone and said go, and hosts who would rather not be asked can switch on auto mode.
• NEWHost subscriptions are open: Re:Cap is free for everyone to read and not free to make, and hosts can now subscribe from their dashboard, after signing in with X, to keep it running and improving; a subscription is what opens reviewing your own recaps before they post.
• IMPROVEDSign in with X, see your own numbers: Signing in with X opens your own page and your own numbers: when your room lights up, your biggest moments, who keeps showing up and which slot works, and if you change your handle you keep the same page and the same history, with the old address still working.
• IMPROVEDOne address per episode, one page per room: Every episode now lives at a single address under its host and its subject, and each host, subject and show has its own page and its own feed, so a room is easier to find and to follow.
• NEWCalled out for Re:Cap: Anyone in the room can ask Re:Cap out loud to keep a moment, say "recap, clip that" or "I hope that makes it in", and that moment lands on the episode page as a playable clip of up to two minutes, credited when we know who spoke.
• NEWCoverage for rooms nobody recorded: If a Space was never recorded, or the host simply forgot to hit record, Re:Cap can cover the room anyway when the host says yes.

Search every word that was said

• IMPROVEDSearch what people actually said: You can now search across all 369 recaps by what was actually said in the room, with the most relevant moments ranked first, the matching words highlighted in context, and a timestamp on every result so one click drops you right at that moment, and if you know the exact phrase you can wrap it in quotes or drop a word with a minus sign, all in well under a second.
• NEWAir times, front and center: You can now see air times wherever episodes show up, with a refreshed look and cards that read cleanly at a glance.
• FIXEDAnnounced Spaces stay put: If an announced Space is delayed and runs long, it no longer slips through and disappears before it airs.
• FIXEDSteadier behind the scenes: We did some quiet reliability work so things run more smoothly behind the scenes.

Knowing when a room happened, and Listener Plus is open

• NEWListener Plus is open: You can now subscribe to Listener Plus and support Re:Cap directly from the site.
• NEWAir times on every recap: Every recap now shows what time a Space aired, not just the date, so you can tell at a glance whether you missed a room by an hour or a week.
• IMPROVEDTimes in your own timezone: On the site, air times now show in your own timezone, and on cards, posts, and emails they show in both ET and PT.
• IMPROVEDQuieter and steadier: We smoothed out some rough edges behind the scenes so recaps show up more dependably.

Sharper host pages and cleaner titles

• IMPROVEDMoment links land where you expect: When you follow a link to a moment, it now takes you straight to the playable quote instead of a passing mention.
• IMPROVEDBetter share cards for host pages: Host pages now show a proper preview image when you share them, and the dropdown lists each host's name above their handle.
• FIXEDNo more sideways scrollbar in the host dropdown: The host dropdown no longer sprouts an unwanted horizontal scrollbar.
• FIXEDCleaner episode titles: Episodes no longer show a placeholder title when the real one is available.

Every host has a page now

• NEWPublic host pages: Every host on the roster now has a public page at recapspaces.com/host/<handle> with their picture, their numbers for episodes, hours, and live reactions, and their full episode shelf, and clicking 'hosted by' on any episode or a host in the header takes you there.
• NEWQuotes sorted onto two shelves: Each host page sorts quotes into two shelves, 'In their own words' and 'Heard in their rooms', with every quote credited by name and deep-linking to that exact point in the room.
• IMPROVEDHours in the host picker: The host picker on the home page now shows hours alongside episode counts, so you can see who has the most tape, not just the most rooms.
• IMPROVEDMilestone stats cards: The milestone stats card now counts things the same way the site does, so the numbers you see match everywhere.
• FIXEDCleaner shutdowns: When a recap is stopped partway through, nothing is left running behind it and no attempt is lost.

See what's coming, and catch what you missed

• NEWA calendar for Spaces and recaps: There is now a calendar at recapspaces.com/calendar showing upcoming announced Spaces and every recap by the day it aired, and you can subscribe in Apple or Google Calendar so new rooms land in your own schedule.
• NEWTerms in plain language: There is now a terms page written in plain language, so you can read it without a legal dictionary.
• IMPROVEDRoom for the whole story: Long episodes now have room for the whole story, so the ending of a long recap does not get cut short.
• IMPROVEDClearer episode pages: Episode pages read more clearly now, with color-coded tags and tidier stats.
• IMPROVEDNames spelled the way they should be: Recaps now hold to the correct spelling of people's names and project names, even when a nickname gets said out loud.
• IMPROVEDQuote clips that start on the quote: Quote clips now start right where the quote is actually spoken instead of at the top of a segment.
• FIXEDSpoken web addresses stay plain text: When a web address is said out loud we no longer turn it into a clickable link, so nothing can quietly point you somewhere unsafe.
• FIXEDSmall site cleanups: Threads now point back to the episode page on the site, and a stray empty bullet at the end of Worth a full listen is gone.

Faces, names, and rooms that hold together

• NEWHost faces on every episode card: Every episode card now shows the host's face, including the back catalog.
• NEWStitched episodes for handoffs: When a room keeps going under a cohost's handle, it now shows up as one episode wearing both hosts' faces.
• NEWSocial previews everywhere: Every page now shows a proper preview image when you share it.
• IMPROVEDReal names, not guesses: Speaker names now resolve to their actual X names instead of phonetic guesses.
• IMPROVEDClearer timestamps on long rooms: Topic timelines now carry unambiguous timestamps so you can find your place in a long conversation.
• FIXEDClips land in the right place: Audio clips now sit under the right quotes in either recap format.
