TL;DR

Highlights

[10:17] β€” Spotify gets overexcited. The first nine minutes are the Fugettes song catalogue, including a tribute track to Brad ("Ladies, he's single, but don't forget the rest"), which prompts DaFameless to open the night with life advice: "Brad, don't become an angel. Be free." Angel joins seconds later, summoned.

[12:53] β€” The dictionary ships. May June publishes it without previewing it β€” "too bad, so sad if it doesn't" look nice β€” and immediately starts teaching from it: fugedy, the fug version of a tragedy; no fugging way; fugget about it, credited to DaFameless from earlier that day. She's celebrating a year's-worth deliverable with about four people in the room and is entirely fine with that.

[16:40] β€” Loners, but with company. Reflecting that it's 8pm Friday and everyone's here instead of out: "It all kind of sounds like we're loners, but you know what? It's fine. Completely fine. We've got friends. They're just β€” they're just JPEG friends." Kadarn, dialing in at 1am, declines the label entirely: he doesn't party, he's comfortable with himself, and he's now attended all three spaces of the day.

[23:08] β€” Fugs lore 101. Asked for the family tree, May June explains there isn't really one β€” there are 12 personalities and Yacht essentially played god with each of them, dialing in attitude and sarcasm per character. DaFameless follows with the proper entry for Hero, the hazel fug: cheeky by nature, incapable of not fugging around on the timeline [26:00], then drops the collector's stat that there are 21 eye traits, or 17 if you exclude the phantoms β€” "a lot of eyes on the project" [28:20].

[36:41] β€” The giveaway becomes an exam. DaFameless suggests gating the next giveaway behind dictionary comprehension. Brad escalates to "a full-on grammar test, like 14 pages, make these foggers work for it," and Kadarn closes the loophole: make it oral, one minute per answer, "you cannot leave the space and go use Chat GPT in a horror conversation." May June then asks ChatGPT for the quiz on the spot and they just play it.

[1:05:13] β€” Fugonomics, defined. Before May June can finish reading the multiple-choice options, DaFameless answers: "it's when Yacht releases a token and all the holders dump the NFT." May June can't keep up with how fast he's producing these; he credits his mentor [1:06:02] β€” Tim, sitting silently in the audience β€” which May June greets with "Tim isn't funny. Tim is just serious."

[1:16:21] β€” Brad's college years. A tangent about business school lands on "a well-trained monkey probably could have done incredibly well in that course," DaFameless notes he's never heard Brad this passionate about school and monkeys in one sentence, and Brad reveals the road not taken: he'd considered "well-trained gopher" but wasn't sure it would land. Moments later the childhood-arson confession arrives [1:17:35], followed by an observation that recorded spaces are forever and, per DaFameless, "there is no more safe space" [1:18:36].

[1:21:19] β€” The pigeon question. Angel, working and confined to the chat, has Brad relay a question to himself: are pigeons real? Brad: "they're real, they're just not birds, they're surveillance devices." Burning Bush, who'd had his volume down and took a coin-flip guess at "no," then argues the opposite and warns Kadarn that Nigeria has no native pigeon species, so the ones over there might well be fake.

[1:35:16] β€” Tim's only contribution. Tim requests the mic exclusively to report that Burning Bush is late for his own space and that he is disappointed. It also surfaces that Tim isn't following the Fugettes account, which disqualifies him from the wheel; he explains you can get in trouble for following people.

[1:38:00] β€” The Fug goes to DaFameless. The wheel lands on the co-host with the sizeable Fugger collection already, one slot past Kadarn and Burning Bush. May June screenshots it preemptively "before people say it's rigged," Kadarn immediately lobbies for a re-gift, and the night closes with thank-yous β€” Kadarn named an honorary fugger despite not owning one, and May June's mom appearing to say goodnight and misidentify herself.
