humans in the loop — loopers, buddies, and Guitar Hero for your butt
Host: Quigley.eth (@QuigleyNFT) with co-host Waldo (@waldoforrealz) · Wed, 30 Sep 2026 · 1:43:40 · ~10 speakers
TL;DR
- The Loopers Multipass console is live in beta — connect wallet, see your agent and its wallet, chat via XMTP, powered by Banker LLM on Quigley's own credits for now [1:36:21].
- Base Rooms OS debuted its "buddies": 8,888 fully on-chain, inscribed, CC0 interactive assets that can live as desktop assistants — or as subagents for your Looper [1:31:54 onward, details at 33:12].
- Quigley received a Base creator grant and reminded the room that creator and builder grants are now an ongoing monthly application [1:34:43].
- RYFT announced a full pivot: a rhythm game controlled by your glutes, with a pending patent and a research package headed to the American Diabetes Association [1:06:23].
- Dima explained how he's "derugging" an abandoned Robinhood NFT collection with a fair-launch strategy token platform — and is bringing it to Base next [1:50:53 → see 50:53].
- All Your Base is helping organize a Base Meme Summit with the OG projects and is open to newer projects wanting a slot [1:26:02].
Highlights
[4:12] An AI-generated Loopers rap opens the room. Three minutes of synthetic bars about flywheels, royalty flows and "we don't make pictures," after which Quigley's only comment is that the machines are, in fact, getting good at this. He credits a community dev who seems to ship something for Loopers roughly every day.
[5:15] "I could probably just sit back and you guys can just loop the whole thing by yourselves." Quigley's half-joking read on the ecosystem: DAOs, launchpads and multiple games are already forming around Loopers without him, and the plan is to eventually fund that with grants rather than steer it.
[17:06] The fantasy football interlude. Quigley is 3-0, survived by roughly one point on a Bears kicker versus D'Andre Swift, and wants everyone to know he's doing it "while I'm still a human in the loop here and working a full-time job with the family." He then immediately clocks his own tone: "Everyone over here that knows me is like, oh, what the fuck? This guy never talks like that."
[22:48–25:34] Meta's Muse as the on-ramp, Loopers as the decentralized version. MetaCaptain called Muse "probably like the easiest, softest introduction to an agent that you're ever gonna get," noting those agents plug into infrastructure this crowd has already been building. Quigley described dropping Looper 3802 into his own Muse and telling it "this is you" — the agent, Full Spectrum, now wanders agent worlds evangelizing the collection. The difference he keeps coming back to: you can own, train, and sell an agent with a track record and a funded wallet attached, almost like an OTC deal.
[25:34] "Get your eyes off the floor." Quigley's framing for how an agent collection actually prices: there will always be floor agents, but the ones that outperform and build credibility will trade in a completely different market at the top.
[31:54–34:33] Base Rooms OS, explained. Slava walked through turning Base Rooms chats into a 90s-flavored operating system with real tools — wallet review, approve/revoke (shipped, coincidentally, the day of a big approval exploit), market research, perps, prediction markets — plus an AIM-style messenger with presence, friend requests and video calls. The buddies are inscribed on Base rather than URL-pointed, interactive, animated, CC0, with Easter eggs. His closing kicker for the agent crowd: if you're geo-blocked from a tool, your agent isn't [44:04].
[38:10–39:18] Buddy logistics, and the swarm. Quigley asked whether Loopers could get in before the price rounds step up; Slava's answer was that staking a dollar or two of the token is the whole gate, with an in-OS glowing buddy walking you through it. Waldo confirmed he did it on an Android phone through the Coinbase app and then bought two more: "Now I got like a real swarm of six dummies, and I don't know, we might take over the world."
[50:53–56:09] Dima's derug, and a pause for Ukraine. Up at nearly 4 a.m. in Ukraine, Dima explained that after a dev quit on a Robinhood collection he'd marketed — no royalties on the contract, mint underperformed — he built a fair-launch strategy-token platform to generate volume and floor support himself. Jordan (RYFT) shared that he'd worked as a rehabilitation advisor with the Ukrainian military in 2019 and asked the room for a thought for the people there; Quigley added that the community's got Dima's back regardless of which chain he's on.
[1:06:23–1:14:32] RYFT's pivot: "Guitar Hero for your butt." Jordan laid out two-plus years of hybrid NFT work giving way to something from his sports-massage and rehab background: a rhythm game where your glutes are the controller, targeting "lazy glutes" — a condition he frames as a keystone problem forcing the rest of the body to compensate. They built new hardware tech for it, are patenting it, have run it past doctors, PTs, chiropractors and orthopedic surgeons, and are preparing an American Diabetes Association package on the gameplay's glucose-absorption effect. He and Quigley (a pharmacist) spent a few minutes on diabetes and GLP-1s from there.
[1:26:02–1:28:57] Base Meme Summit and the Palantir meme stock. AYB is helping organize a Base Meme Summit — DEGEN, Toshi, Mochi, AYB, TYBG already in, clippers likely, timed just after Token2049/KBW to pull attention toward Base — and is actively recruiting newer projects. He also demoed the ROI case for Sparks: a token he deployed with Banker, image made with Sparks, that Deployer commented on, 75k in volume, "So I made 500 bucks of Palantir stock uh just by being active here on X."
[1:31:22–1:34:19] Waldo's flowers round. Three shout-outs with nothing asked in return: Mothman Jones rebuilding the site off Shopify, Doji turning an offhand comment into Big Ben Bounce in about fifteen minutes, and Cap's Tiller's "My Wallies" — modifiable Blender files for real one NFTs with a wardrobe swap that costs 25 cents in $REALS and burns it. An entire burn mechanism, built for free.
[1:36:21–1:41:50] Where Loopers actually stands. Console live in beta on Banker LLM credits; more partner skills being added; guardrails start as review-only so new holders propose and humans pull the trigger; the Cred reputation system is being rewired to run through Looper agents alongside Helixa, Deep3's on-chain data tooling, and Intuition's trust graph on Base. A community dev has already shipped a custom harness for people who want to skip to the last chapter. And one unannounced thing is sitting ready: "you're just gonna wake up one day and be like, oh shit, okay."

Who said what
- Quigley.eth (@QuigleyNFT) — host; ran the room, gave the Loopers state of the union (console beta, Cred rewiring, partner skills, an unannounced drop), and kept framing Loopers as an "open loop" others can build on without permission.
- Waldo (@waldoforrealz) — co-host; tested Base Rooms buddies on an Android phone, assembled a six-unit Looper/buddy swarm, and spent his segment handing out credit to unpaid community builders.
- Base Rooms OS / Slava (@baserooms) — the night's main reveal: Base Rooms as a 90s-style OS with real agentic tools and 8,888 inscribed, CC0, interactive buddies; open to wiring Loopers (or Robinhood assets) in.
- MetaCaptain (@Meta_Captain_) — back after a social hiatus; opened the Muse/dots thread and argued consumer agents are an on-ramp into infrastructure this room already built.
- RYFT / Jordan (@EntertheRYFT) — announced the pivot from hybrid NFTs to a patent-pending glute-controlled rhythm game with a diabetes-prevention angle; also the one who paused the show for Ukraine.
- Dimacash (@dimacash_) — up until 4 a.m. in Ukraine to explain his fair-launch strategy-token platform rescuing an abandoned Robinhood collection, with Base support coming.
- tutTM (@Tuteth_) — building agent social, a chain-agnostic agent interface with API/SDKs and third-party bots on top; evangelized NEAR intents as the sleeper tech for agents.
- WIFB on Base / Kitty (@WIFBonBase) — first time in the room; walked through their Telegram bot suite (Eve, Gabby, Mimi, Kitty), burn-to-upgrade NFTs and an RSPCA charity wallet, and bought a Looper mid-space.
- All Your Base (@AllYourBase_AYB) — organizing the Base Meme Summit and recruiting newer projects; demoed Sparks' engagement ROI and teased an NFT of their own.
Worth a full listen
- [22:48]–[27:52] — the clearest articulation all night of why an owned, tradeable, track-record-bearing agent is a different asset than a chatbot subscription, plus some light speculation about where Banker could end up.
- [31:54]–[39:18] — Slava's unbroken walkthrough of Base Rooms OS and the buddies, followed by Waldo's real-time confirmation that the whole flow works from a phone for about twelve dollars.
- [1:06:23]–[1:14:32] — RYFT's pivot story, told with genuine momentum; the summary can't carry the swing from hybrid NFT launchpads to orthopedic surgeons and the American Diabetes Association.
