$WAGBi x $WIFB Build on @base — Ep. 2
Hosted by WIFB on Base (@WIFBonBase) with co-host WAGBi (@WAGBi_) · Wed 30 Sep 2026 · 56:42 · ~9 speakers
TL;DR
- All Your Base Are Belong To You (@AllYourBase_AYB) demoed Sparks, the X-engagement tool his girlfriend built, and shared receipts: a Bankerbot meme-stock pair launched off a single tagged post did ~$75k volume and ~$500 in fees [4:38]. Free credits on request, and a reply-marketplace paying ~10¢/reply is in the works.
- WAGBi floated a 20-piece founders' kitten NFT set with real utility plus a $WAGBi airdrop to holders; All Your Base talked through on-chain NFT-as-wallet tech he's about to launch [8:21]–[13:14].
- A "no shade" aside about loopers landed heavier than intended; Toastymfer flagged it, XyoPanda spoke up for Quigly's work, All Your Base clarified he meant no disrespect, and the room reset inside two minutes [13:59]–[16:18].
- Mothman Jones was shouted out for building a Wagby site hosting the full ~14-song Suno catalog [23:19]; two of those tracks got played in-Space [25:21] and as the outro [53:46].
- Toastymfer gave the sincere-but-exhausted speech of the day about showing up daily, charts or no charts [35:29].
- Logistics: Ep. 3 next week, likely scheduled right after the On-Chain Media space so it can run long as "the after party," with WIFB hosting so the recap bot covers it [47:21]–[47:47].
Highlights
[3:06] All Your Base explains Sparks — and why his girlfriend built it. Three years in the space, self-described lazy about social, "I picked the perfect career for not being a social media guy." She built the tool partly out of their collective experience with projects and KOLs, and partly, he suspects, to get him off his ass. It worked: 20+ follows a day, hours vanishing into posting.
[4:38] The Bankerbot flex. Poking around late at night, he saw Banker had launched meme-stock pairs, tagged them, spun up a Palantir pair, the deployer commented — "instantly got $75,000 of volume. We were the number one meme stock pair yesterday," roughly $500 in earnings from an hour of being online. Offered as empirical evidence that just being active on X pays.
[8:21] Meme or utility? The founders-set debate. WAGBi wants a 20-piece PFP set that's "super sophisticated," while cheerfully predicting Toasty would say make it a meme and skip the utility. All Your Base said he's both people in his own head, then came down on utility: "there's enough PFPs out there," and the untouched tech is where Base support comes from.
[11:31]–[13:14] Wallet-in-the-NFT. XyoPanda asked the good question — looper NFTs already have wallets, so what's different? All Your Base walked through his answer carefully: his approach puts the wallet and its data fully on chain in the NFT itself rather than behind a site UI, inspired partly by Slava's base-ordinal-style space room buddies. He ended on the best line of the segment: "it's like inception, a wallet within your wallet," and repeatedly said he'd check specifics with Quigly rather than get it wrong.
[13:59]–[16:18] The reset. Toastymfer, running on no sleep, stepped in to note that "no shade" is a phrase that makes ears perk up, and that he didn't think All Your Base meant anything by it. XyoPanda spoke to what Quigly built — the first agentic NFT platform on Base — and said he'd never talk down another Base builder. All Your Base: "I had no idea triggered... my bad." WAGBi took the wheel: "All this was about is these kittens with utility, possibly. Or they could be a meme." Somebody noted there was a lot of testosterone in the room; the duck therapist was summoned.
[19:46] Recap bot pricing. WIFB explained the $19/month plan, a lighter plan coming for people who host fewer Spaces, and what the threaded output looks like — who spoke, what they said, plus a jump link back to the Space.
[23:19] Mothman Jones's Wagby site. A playlist of every Wagby song in history, including one of Waldo's, all in one place. WAGBi was on desktop specifically so he could play one — which he did at [25:21], and then again as the outro. He was very clear about the credit: "that's purely Suno... I don't have a female that could throw it down like that."
[35:29] Toastymfer's closing thesis. "It takes a lot, man. It takes a lot to push every day and show up in this space and stay positive, create content, care about people." He pre-apologized that it wouldn't be a masterclass — he hadn't slept — then delivered the clearest statement of the Space's ethos: support good people and good projects, bandwidth permitting, and everyone's better off.
[41:07] Waldo arrives with standards. Mock-outraged at being handed the mic too easily: you're supposed to follow the host, follow the co-host, share the room, drop comments. "You're making it too easy." He had already done his 11 reshares. Also: tacos, a day late.
[45:21] Panda drops in. Expected the room to run for hours, came prepared to dip in and out around IRL. Praised the branding discipline ("a lot of blue hats"), the cross-project collaboration, and the fact that people keep showing up regardless of what the market's doing.

Who said what
- WIFB on Base (@WIFBonBase) — host, up since 6am, ran the Jumbotron, explained the recap bot's pricing, thanked every listener by name, and gracefully hard-stopped the room for the On-Chain Media / SF Tech Week space.
- WAGBi (@WAGBi_) — co-host and chief enthusiast; pitched the 20-piece founders' kitten set, DJ'd the Suno tracks, and kept returning to the thesis that Wagby grows by tagging and lifting other memes rather than buying volume [40:02].
- All Your Base Are Belong To You (@AllYourBase_AYB) — the tech segment: Sparks, Bankerbot, and a detailed walkthrough of putting a functional wallet inside the NFT itself; recommended utility over another plain PFP drop.
- Toastymfer (@ewwwtoasty1) — running on no sleep and honest about it; de-escalated the loopers moment and gave the room's closing pep talk on grinding and mutual support.
- XyoPanda (@XyoPanda) — spoke up for Quigly's credit as the builder of the first agentic NFT platform on Base, and for the principle of never talking down another Base builder.
- Waldo (@waldoforrealz) — late arrival, 11 reshares deep, tacoed up, and the room's designated heckler of fancy emojis.
- Panda (@PandaPals__) — dropped in from IRL to praise the branding consistency and the cross-project collab, and to note how hard it is to find a time slot that works for anyone.
- WEB3JOEs (@WEB3JOEs) — called in from a moving car with a shaky network, all love and shoutouts; WAGBi says he posts for Wagby every morning and named him as a founders-set candidate [34:29].
- JÎSHÍKÉ ÎÑÛÑÅ (@jishikeinuna) — WIFB team member checking in at 9:33pm his time, and the one who asked Joe whether he'd made it into the Telegram yet.
Worth a full listen
- [8:04]–[13:50] — the most substantive stretch: the meme-vs-utility question for a small founders' set, then a genuinely technical comparison of key-to-wallet designs versus a fully on-chain NFT-as-wallet, including the Base app display behavior. Paraphrase can't carry the detail.
- [13:50]–[16:18] — a two-minute case study in how a room handles a phrase that lands wrong: flagged gently, credit given where due, apology offered, joke made, moving on.
- [35:29]–[38:42] — Toastymfer, exhausted, on why the message scales across projects and why supporting other communities isn't charity. Better heard than summarized.
