Give A Shit — rugged twice, reopened three times
Host: BeeCuzFuture (@BeeCuzFuture) · Wed 23 Sep 2026 · 2:40:22 across 3 parts · ~15 voices
TL;DR
- What started as one man decompressing after a 12½-hour workday turned into a full-room conversation about grief, family, and why people keep showing up for each other in Spaces. The room got rugged twice; the crowd came back both times, bigger each round.
- BeeCuzFuture (Dan Greenberg) opened solo, played two original songs — one for his late grandparents, one for his wife Emma — and shared that his younger brother had his first son at 2 a.m., named after their grandfather [P1 20:41].
- Toastymfer came on to say he probably shouldn't be there — his dad's health is failing fast — and the room stopped everything to sit with him [P2 36:23]. HALLOWEEN On SOL, StarSeed Witch, Waldo and Panda each offered their own loss and what they'd do differently.
- Waldo gave a long, unguarded account of checking himself into a mental health facility this summer and teaching the group-therapy room the same mantras he learned on Spaces [P2 41:06].
- Part 3 let the air out: Tricky.TGN and the host discovered they may have filed patents in the same sector and immediately started negotiating NDAs [P3 25:13], Morgen blew through to fist-bump the entire stage and leave, and the night ended somewhere between donkey milk, thyroid testing and quartz crystals.
Highlights
[P1 3:45] — "Find your why." The host opens to a nearly empty room after a 6 a.m.–6:30 p.m. day and one insufferable coworker, and lands on the thing that reset him: he came home to food in the oven and his wife bringing the kids downstairs past bedtime for a goodnight kiss. "That anger, that frustration from the day, it went away" [P1 6:39].
[P1 8:00] — Röcky shares a loss. Röcky (@Rockchilld3)* came up and spoke plainly about a hard week with his girlfriend, and about gratitude for being able to be there for her. The host answered with his own earlier loss before he met his wife, and the two of them set the tone for everything the night became [P1 8:33].
[P1 17:26] — "Grandpa Dick and Grandma Kay." The host plays a song he wrote for his grandmother, who never got to hear it. His aunt plays it often. It's the kind of thing that only works in a small room at 10 p.m., and it worked.
[P2 2:43] — The first rug, and the Greenberg family expands. Panda hopped up mid-shower-schedule to announce "my name is Panda Greenberg, and I give a shit," having discovered the room had died while he was away. Waldo arrived shortly after with a guilt spiral about missing the original room, then flipped it into the thesis of the night [P2 5:28].
[P2 15:16] — Reading Panda's emoji Morse code. Panda got stuck off-stage and could only communicate in reactions. The host: "I don't know how to read Morse code." Waldo translated confidently — three crying tears equal water, four thumbs up equal the bamboo — "Water the bamboo" [P2 15:34]. Panda returned with a lecture on the co-host/speaker button nuance that had trapped him.
[P2 17:20] — A rent-money ask, handled straight. Behshab came up asking for help covering rent. The host answered honestly rather than dismissively: most people here don't have money to throw around, he'd just worked 12½ hours himself, and jumping into a room to ask for money without being part of the community is a turn-off — but here's how Waldo's giveaways work, and here's how showing up over months got him invited onto the Yucky Ducks team [P2 20:10]. Peanut followed to add that dry capital doesn't disqualify you from contributing: share the room, make the post, do the part you can do [P2 21:44].
[P2 36:23] — Toasty says the thing. "I'm not supposed to be here right now." His dad's health is sliding rapidly, the kids are starting to understand, and he's been off the timeline trying to be present. Waldo's response — "I actually want you to be here now" — opened the deepest stretch of the night.
[P2 41:06] — Waldo on spaces as group therapy. Two weeks in a facility after what was supposed to be a two-day check-in, no phone, no way to tell anyone where he'd gone — and the thing that carried him through was repeating the community's own mantras to himself, then teaching them to the therapy group. "I do radio shows on the regular, so that's why we're kind of right here with the pre-packed information" [P2 45:22]. The host gently reframed it afterward: for him this place is less therapy than mentorship, closest to what he had in the Marine Corps [P2 49:21].
[P2 55:19] — HALLOWEEN On SOL's father. A long, specific account of two and a half years of congestive heart failure, a stubborn meat-and-potatoes dad, and a 3 a.m. post-surgery call — "I told you I'd make it" — that turned the wrong way by morning [P2 59:26]. The point he brought it for: six months of regret afterward even though he'd given all the time there was, so don't let Toasty carry that. StarSeed Witch added the practical version: ask for the stories now, while he can tell them [P2 1:03:53]. The host then turned to Waldo about the grandma he didn't visit one more time, and told him the bond he'd built here is the proof she'd want [P2 1:08:16].
[P3 21:28] — Morgen's drive-by. Between two meetings, Morgen burst in for the sole purpose of fist-bumping every single person on stage and leaving. Waldo claimed he'd already looted up first (CBD loop, to calm himself down), Luna and Vest and Aubrey were queued for fists, and the host observed of his own duck PFP: "You can't fist a duck. A duck's ass is watertight" [P3 21:56].
[P3 25:13] — Two inventors, one NDA standoff. The host mentioned that his ADD nights produced five filed patents in the energy sector — a suit, extending to humanoid robots and exoskeletons. Tricky.TGN immediately claimed an invention along the same lines, and the negotiation began: "You might have to sign an NDA." Host: "Well, you're signing one first, but my patents are already filed." Tricky: "I sent mine through the mail back in the 90s, so good luck" [P3 25:32].

Who said what
- BeeCuzFuture (@BeeCuzFuture) — host. Opened solo after a brutal shift, played his own songs, kept reopening the room after it collapsed twice, and consistently redirected sympathy outward to whoever needed it more.
- Waldo (@waldoforrealz) — the night's emotional engine. Rallied the room, coaxed Toasty into speaking, then shared his own summer in a mental health facility and what the community's language did for him inside it.
- Panda (@PandaPals__) — co-host energy. Pushed the "there's more than one way to be rich" theme, got stuck off-stage and communicated in emoji, and closed his long stretch with the proverb that anchored the whole grief conversation.
- Toastymfer (@ewwwtoasty1) — came on to check in and ended up saying out loud that his father is dying. Also gave Waldo his flowers in public, at length.
- HALLOWEEN On SOL ST (@HalloweenonSol) — told the full story of his dad's decline and death specifically so Toasty would know the regret is coming and isn't deserved.
- StarSeed Witch (@Starseedwitch1) — 54, in the southern hemisphere, here since 2024. Gave the most practical grief advice in the room (ask for the stories, forgive yourself), then later ran the crystals-and-frequencies tangent with genuine expertise.
- Tricky.TGN (@TrickysNFTs) — Part 3's chaos generator. Decade in crypto, seven early industries, an LED grow light business, Crohn's, and an invention he refuses to describe on a recorded space.
- Peanut (@peanutt) — reminded the room you can contribute without capital, then fielded gentle accusations of being simultaneously in every space and never reachable.
- Luna (@888_Societyclub) — arrived to support the host and to insult Peanut, in that order. Also delivered the most useful medical advice of the night: ask your doctor for the thyroid panel, they won't offer it.
- Morgen (@AiArsenals) — present for roughly ninety seconds, entirely to distribute fist bumps.
- Röcky (@Rockchilld3) — Part 1's only other voice, and the reason the first hour turned honest.
- Behshab (@Behshabb) and Ousman Jallow (@J99139115Jallow) — dropped in from outside the usual circle; both were welcomed and answered straight.
Worth a full listen
- [P2 41:06]–[P2 48:55] — Waldo's uninterrupted account of the facility, the two-day check-in that became two weeks, and running Spaces-style mind share as group therapy. Summarizing it flattens it; the specifics are the whole thing.
- [P2 55:19]–[P2 1:15:22] — the long grief stretch: HALLOWEEN On SOL's father, StarSeed Witch on forgiving yourself, the host's message to Waldo about his grandma, Panda's closing proverb. Four people offering four different kinds of comfort to the same person.
- [P3 21:28]–[P3 30:18] — from Morgen's fist-bump raid through the patent standoff into perpetual energy machines, quartz processors and crystal-charging benches for public parks. A pure cooldown after two hours of heavy, and the sharpest the banter gets all night.
