Re:Building Together EP 328 — Creation Corner / Play With Your JPEGs
Host: CEELOS (@CEELOSFIGG) · Sat, Sep 19 · 1:06:34 · 5 main voices (plus one very persuasive 11-year-old)
TL;DR
- The Creation Corner prompt of the day was a cartoon movie-poster generator — so long it had to be posted in two parts in the purple pill, where it lives permanently since the Space is recorded [4:34], [1:03:17].
- Baked ran it on his Regen PFP and LT3 pieces, Solo dolo ran it through Grok and came out as a tidy little Porky Pig poster, and toomazingTM produced "The Golden Eagle," a Desert Cartoon Studios joint [34:29], [1:01:09].
- CEELOS spent the day on the bus and train across his old LA neighborhood so his oldest son and his 11-year-old could hang out properly for the first time — most of the hour's connective tissue is that story [17:20], [40:58], [45:44].
- Macaroons mint hype: mint closing soon, 1:1 airdrop promised to minters, reveal pending — CEELOS is openly pre-hyping himself [14:23], [56:09].
- Deja Vu check-in: CEELOS won one in a post contest, phase six is coming, 26 holders total, and he's the third-largest holder with 15 [51:49], [52:39].
- Closing idea with legs: a single home for ~a year's worth of prompts — Discord, a base44 build, or the Reorder-style copy-paste prompt gallery toomazing pointed to [1:01:09].
Highlights
[4:34] The prompt, and the part where the prompt doesn't fit. CEELOS walks Baked through the day's movie-poster prompt, discovers it's too long for a single post, splits it in two, and then tries to DM the whole thing to Wolf — only to be told he's over by "negative 2027" characters. Copy part one, paste, copy part two, paste under it. That's the workflow.
[6:03] Personalizing the credits. The small craft note buried in the setup: he uploads a character, gives it wardrobe direction (Baked's invisible-man look "is what works for me"), then goes back and rewrites the poster's own generated text — swapping in "Regen Studios," "a production by CEELOS." Little tweaks, more ownership.
[7:32] Flexing Fudge. A Claystonks generation comes back unread and self-titled: a cinematic feat of clay and comedy. CEELOS reads the tagline aloud, decides that's good enough, and tags Bourbon and the project — the recurring house rule of the show being that if you post the art, you tag the project.
[11:17] Episode open, plus a double rainbow. The show formally starts (after the Space rugged the host four or five times), Baked reports the move is done bar the landlord-pleasing cleanup, and a literal double rainbow shows up over the drive and gets uploaded to the chat.
[14:23] Why he buys what he buys. The clearest statement of philosophy in the hour: some mints are flips — get in early, sell for profit — and some are bought hoping the reveal gives him a character he actually wants to make content with. If he doesn't vibe with what he reveals, he offloads and funds something he does. Macaroons are firmly in category two.
[17:20] Wins, and what the wins are for. CEELOS on keeping the JPEG money separate from the bank account, and now skimming a little off the top of the good days for IRL things — his daughter just turned 13, she wants her own laptop, and the birthday budget stretched to a professional haircut she'd asked for specifically. He's honest about the gap between that and the Disney trip her older sister got at 16.
[20:10] The Weezer origin story. Walking his son past his childhood friend John's house, he points out the first place he ever saw the internet: John had a computer, John had the internet, and the two of them watched the Buddy Holly video load for something like an hour and a half before they could press play. "It was a big deal," because it was the first glimpse of what the thing could do.
[26:05] ValerieKates explains Buc-ee's, reluctantly. She's in Arizona, about to scoop up a friend and head to a Good Company dinner where she'll finally meet Bourbon, with a mandated pit stop for jalapeño-cheese sausages and beef jerky. CEELOS, an Angeleno with no frame of reference for truck stops, asks if the mascot is a macaroon. It is not. One is opening in Vegas, which she frames as a logistical win and CEELOS frames as a life sentence.
[30:33] Gorditas, 12 tacos, and possible deer. Solo dolo offers to drive gorditas over and then vetoes himself — you need them fresh. That opens CEELOS's Guadalajara era: ordering a dozen tacos as a teenager while a younger cousin got capped at four, and, years later, retroactively clocking the deer heads and deer-themed stained glass at his favorite tender-meat restaurant. He has a firm policy against adding animals to the list without being told first (see also: the bison jerky incident).
[45:44] The wrestling weekend. Catching up with his oldest, whose ring name is Richie Coy and whose tag team is Platonic Romance: Oakland Friday, Texas Saturday, San Francisco Sunday, flights mostly out of his own pocket, day job at the same downtown LA Starbucks for nearly five years and cool about the schedule. Ring of Honor is the dream. CEELOS notes he forgot to volunteer himself to take a bump — he can take a hurricanrana, cleanly and safely, he'd like the room to know.
[52:39] Small collection, zero expectations. On Deja Vu: 26 holders, no one there for the chart, phase six imminent, the last drop of 25 letting people pick and choose instead of fighting a bot. Later, the color-hex nerdery — CCF00 as the Robinhood hex, 649685 as the exact Regen background he feeds into prompts to keep backgrounds on-brand [56:09].
[1:01:09] Somebody archive the prompts. Nearly a year of long-form prompts are scattered across recorded Spaces. CEELOS floats a Discord home or a base44 build; toomazingTM points to Reorder's site, where each image previews its prompt and you copy the whole load-out in one click. Best actionable takeaway of the hour.

Who said what
- CEELOS (@CEELOSFIGG) — host; wrote and distributed the two-part poster prompt, ran the show through repeated Space rugs, and carried the hour with the story of getting his oldest and youngest sons in the same room for the first time.
- Baked (@Bakedmetax) — early co-host until his connection took him out; just finished a move, ran the prompt on his Regen and LT3 pieces, and got graded "above and beyond as usual" for professional-grade copy-pasting.
- ValerieKates (@valeriekates_) — dialing in from the road in Arizona en route to a Good Company dinner and a first meeting with Bourbon; supplied the Buc-ee's field report and declined, on the record, to take a selfie.
- Solo dolo (@solodolo) — Grok user, poster contributor, resident UFC correspondent ($400 for the nosebleeds was a no), and the one who confirmed gorditas do not travel.
- toomazingTM (@TooMazing265) — Deja Vu co-conspirator and holder-count rival, posted "The Golden Eagle," and closed the show with the Reorder prompt-library idea.
Worth a full listen
- [40:58]–[48:35] — The extended version of the day with both sons: the side-eyed moment of watching them high-five, the patience gap between how CEELOS says "sit down" and how his older son says it, the apartment-visit negotiation, and the full wrestling-career catch-up. It's the emotional center of the episode and the summary flattens it.
- [29:46]–[34:29] — Pure food tangent, best enjoyed live: the Norwalk drive-time calculation, a dozen tacos in Guadalajara, the awkward cousin at the taco stand, and the slow-dawning deer realization.
- [24:20]–[28:14] — Project cross-pollination (Jed into Claystonks, Bourbon into Regens) sliding straight into the Buc-ee's interrogation, which is the show's tonal range in four minutes.
