Re:Building Together EP 329 β The Ceelos & Dolo Show π
Host: CEELOS (@CEELOSFIGG) with co-host Solo dolo (@solodolo) Β· Sun, Sep 20 2026 Β· 1:10:16 Β· 5 significant speakers
TL;DR
- A genuinely low-key football Sunday episode: CEELOS hosted it from the kitchen, then the driveway, then the car, then a parking hunt at Bob Baker Day in Chinatown, while Solo dolo watched RedZone from the couch.
- Episode 365 is the stated finish line β CEELOS confirmed a "major overhaul" of the Re:Building Together space when it gets there, and Solo dolo volunteered to take over [22:42].
- Solo dolo ran a beginner's tutorial on over/unders, player props and parlays, with a plan for CEELOS to place his first-ever parlay on episode 365 [21:09]β[27:26].
- ValerieKates gave the fullest report of the day: the Good Company dinner in Arizona, a mixed crypto/indie-film crowd, an AI filmmaker who just got hired by MGM, and a "direct to cinema" model pitched by the festival organizer [48:07]β[56:04].
- Val also laid out why she's done appearing in group photos β and made a case for Good Company as the least gate-kept thing she's found in web3, one she's now brought normie family and friends to [58:25].
- Closing stretch turned into a full LA roundtable: dispensary runs, Raiders-jersey solitude, an unsparing Pomona review, and a debate over how long ago the '94 earthquake was.
Highlights
[6:01] The fullest empty room in podcasting. After an intro track and a station-verification reset, CEELOS opened to an audience of exactly one co-host and played it straight: "This room is too packed. Everybody settle down. Don't trip over each other. Just grab a seat. Grab a mic. Or don't β do whatever the hell you want. You're all adults." Solo dolo's reason for being available was simple: his girl wasn't home.
[9:30] Waiting on a reveal. CEELOS mentioned he's hoping his recent mint reveals during the day β snapshot taken, mint already closed under a thousand, everyone eligible to claim one-for-one, and secondary sitting at roughly double mint. Mostly he just wants to see what trait category he lands in.
[17:03] The hat bag. A small domestic archaeology moment: CEELOS confessed that his hats reach a level of sweat where he gathers them into a bag with full intent to wash them β and that bag hasn't been opened in a year or two. "I can already smell my hat" [24:11] followed shortly after, with coffee grounds on the brim as a bonus feature.
[21:09] Gambling 101, taught patiently. CEELOS admitted he doesn't know what an over/under is, and Solo dolo walked him through it: totals, player props set off season averages adjusted for opponent strength, and how payouts scale with legs. CEELOS landed on straight moneyline picks as the format he understands, and they agreed to put his first parlay in on episode 365 [25:05].
[23:35] Accidental veteran. On the space's longevity: there are far more rooms competing for attention now than when episode one aired, and CEELOS took the fatigue in stride β it won't be the first space he's been part of that reached 365. "Unintentionally became a veteran of spaces."
[33:55] Two flat tires. Val arrived 35 minutes in with the honest note that "twelve PM is hard," and CEELOS summed up the state of the show: close to the finish line, but riding on two flats. Val finished the thought for him. They then compared notes on a five-minute clip circulating on the timeline of someone completely crashing out on a space β no context, no idea who was being yelled at, just volume.
[48:07] The Good Company dinner. Val's report on the Arizona dinner: half the table was there for a short film festival, half was crypto/web3, with a Stand with Crypto sponsor bridging the two. She met AI filmmakers including Louie β who went from nine-hour renders while learning to a recent hire at MGM β and PJ, who runs the festival and is working on a "direct to cinema" model so independent filmmakers' theaters keep 100% of ticket sales instead of handing over a Marvel-sized cut. She came away wanting to finally do the gallery show of her own work she's been putting off [51:03].
[52:06] "I hate the way I look." The most candid stretch of the space: Val explained she's not getting in any more group photos β not shyness, but not wanting images she dislikes immortalized. CEELOS offered the counterargument that he isn't photogenic either and keeps the pictures for the reminiscing, not the face. Val's answer: she can look at a photo of everyone else and reminisce just fine.
[58:25] Why she keeps showing up. Val on Good Company: open to everyone, no holder requirement, no PFP requirement, "you don't have to lick anybody's asshole." She's brought her uncle and a friend from Seattle β no NFTs, no crypto, just normies β and counted her own attendance: Vegas, Scottsdale, Boston, New York, Scottsdale, with Seattle next making six.
[1:02:57] The fourth-quarter arrivals. Sam pulled up with the space nearly over and owned it β "right when it's about to end, I'm like, yep, that's my time to shine" β then immediately announced a dispensary stop before going to help her mom. CEELOS clarified he doesn't really partake anymore ("I put in my time"), which earned the estimate that he's been smoking since about ten. His correction: eleven.
[1:06:39] Pomona, reviewed. The last speaker joined mid-space-hop with news of a takeover in Pomona that turned out to be a car show. Sam offered a polite "no offense to anyone in Pomona" and got no cover at all in return. The tangent drifted into sinkholes, tsunamis and the San Andreas before landing on the 1994 earthquake, where Val's dating of it ("he's old as fuck") and the verdict "Geriatrix" closed out the room.

Who said what
- CEELOS (@CEELOSFIGG) β host, mobile all episode: ran the scoreboard, the mint check-in, the 365 countdown, and narrated his own departure from the house in real time (twice).
- Solo dolo (@solodolo) β co-host from the couch with RedZone and multiple fantasy leagues going; taught the betting segment, offered to take the show over at 365, and delivered the day's shortest photo review.
- ValerieKates (@valeriekates_) β brought the IRL substance: the Good Company dinner recap, the film-festival crossover, direct-to-cinema, and an honest stretch on photos and self-image.
- Sam (π π π π β @pressedcurl)* β late-arrival specialist, self-declared fourth-quarter closer, dispensary run pending, mom duty inbound.
- Speaker 5 β space-hopper who joined at the end with a Pomona car show report and no interest whatsoever in Pomona.
Worth a full listen
- [21:09]β[27:26] β The betting tutorial works better as audio than as summary: Solo dolo explaining props and parlays from scratch while CEELOS drives, asks who sets the lines, and eventually decides he just wants to pick winners.
- [48:07]β[56:04] β Val's Good Company recap, with the details on the AI filmmakers, the MGM hire, and PJ's direct-to-cinema pitch that don't compress well.
- [1:02:57]β[1:10:05] β The unplanned closing roundtable. Three people who clearly know each other riffing on dispensaries, Raiders jerseys, Pomona and the '94 earthquake, with CEELOS looking for parking the entire time.
