Re:Building Together EP 336 — Eyes On The Prize / What's Your Focus?
Host: CEELOS (@CEELOSFIGG) with cohosts ValerieKates (@valeriekates_) and Baked (@Bakedmetax), plus SLICK RIC (@richj530) · Sun, Sep 27, 2026 · 59:45 · 4 speakers
TL;DR
- Sunday check-in built around one question: what are you actually focused on heading into the end of the year? Answers ranged from network-building and gym habits to "building with substance" and, in CEELOS's case, getting back on a skateboard.
- Baked found a possible home for all the AI prompts the crew has been writing — a site he described as Ant Seed, an open marketplace for AI models/APIs where he thinks he could build a one-click tool for regen owners [27:25].
- CEELOS ran a wallet-and-account security PSA, with step-by-step instructions for revoking apps with write access to your X account [30:51].
- Regen's two-year anniversary is the next day (730 days, per Baked's calculator), with a re:envisioning space plus the usual show; re:games #2 on the other side is later in the week with a new claimable badge [53:52].
- Jed sniped two regens off the floor and offered to gift one to the next person who snipes five at 0.61 or under [43:35].
- A vision board space is now on the October calendar, mostly because CEELOS admitted he has only ever seen one on television [49:17].
Highlights
[5:11] — A hip-hop history lesson to open the show. After an extended intro track, CEELOS broke down what the room had just heard: Masta Killa from Wu-Tang alongside Kurupt from DPG, three industry giants on one record he never expected to see. His verdict on the year: 2026 has been a pretty decent one for hip hop, because the old school keeps coming back to show the new generation how it's properly done.
[7:09] — The pots and pans reckoning. CEELOS laid out his Sunday: cat food run, a binge-watch finished (and mourned), and dinner at his mother's — the standing arrangement that solves the eternal "what are we doing for dinner" question. The catch is he never returns the cookware, so he was heading over with three trash bags full of his mom's pots and pans, under direct orders.
[8:54] — Can you eat alone? A tangent that turned into a small confessional. Baked said he's grown into it and will treat himself to somewhere nicer than usual, no shame; CEELOS would rather take the food to go and eat it "like a sad, sad man" in his car, because seeing anyone dining solo makes him feel bad on their behalf.
[12:01] — The actual question. Baked's focus in web3 is connections and the knowledge that comes with them, and personally, getting back on track in the gym after a move. Valerie, calling in from a train on her way to Pike Place in downtown Seattle, said she's restructuring as she returns to her work and content.
[13:52] — Valerie's meetup leaderboard. CEELOS ran the tally — Seattle, New York, Boston, Arizona, Vegas — and concluded that outside of one other person she may lead the league in good company dinners. His cautionary tale from the LA one: "I showed up 190 pounds, I walked out of there 205, and that's my story and I'm sticking to it."
[16:13] — Anxiety at 8 a.m. and counting backwards from 180. CEELOS described waking up after three hours of sleep with a warehouse to-do list already cycling in his head, and the trick he uses to settle it down. It set up the honest version of the space's theme: IRL work, content he wants to build on a bigger scale, and skateboarding, all competing for the same finite attention — plus the birthday/pop-up/Halloween/Thanksgiving gauntlet that makes this his busiest stretch of the year.
[26:02] — Comic timing, courtesy of the connection gods. Mid-sentence about needing to put their heads together on a prompt archive, CEELOS noticed his cohost had vanished from the panel: "How dare you. How dare you. He'll come back, he'll come back." Baked later explained he'd tapped a notification and got bounced into the regen account.
[27:25] — A real plan for the prompt library. Back on stage, Baked pitched Ant Seed, a site Lyss had flagged in the timeline: a marketplace for AI models and APIs with free and paid options. His idea is to park all the prompts the two of them have been tuning in one place with an engine behind them, so someone can upload their NFT, press a button, and get the output without bouncing between three platforms.
[34:49] — SLICK RIC on failing on purpose. Joining from the couch mid-football-game, Slick Ric gave the most quotable answer of the day: build with substance, do your own research, don't idolize anyone. He then tied it to real life — negotiating for a winter building, watching what works today stop working tomorrow — and landed on failure as the mechanism, not the enemy. CEELOS's counterpart: get comfortable being uncomfortable, because you can only control your reaction.
[41:23] — Trading update, translated. Baked reported both his positions looking good with specific numbers. CEELOS, an NFT guy to the core: "I still don't know what any of that means." Baked, helpfully: "Bakes is making money." Slick Ric offered to do a live walkthrough in Discord, since showing beats telling [44:25].
[49:17] — The vision board segment. Baked suggested CEELOS get all his competing priorities onto paper the way Slick Ric has them on his wall. CEELOS's response was that he's only ever encountered vision boards on movies and TV, nobody made him build one in school, and he's going to need it taught to him live on air. Valerie noted she didn't learn about them until her thirties. It's now a planned October space — with a Lisa Frank prompt homework assignment for Baked, who also doesn't know what Lisa Frank is.

Who said what
- CEELOS — Host. Set the theme and modeled it, walking through his own year-end inventory: warehouse work, content he wants to scale up, skateboarding he's let slide, and the family time he schedules around spaces. Also ran the security PSA and kept the room moving.
- Baked — Cohost, dialing in from the road between cities. Focus on connections and health; brought the Ant Seed idea for a real prompt library, handled the mid-space recap, and suggested the vision board that launched a whole segment.
- ValerieKates — Cohost, live from a train in Seattle after a good company meetup, connection permitting. Restructuring her focus around getting back to work and content, and closed the show in full radio-host voice.
- SLICK RIC — Guest, watching the game with the family. Delivered the space's thesis: build with substance, bet on yourself, treat failure as data, and think about where you want to be ten years out. Offered a live Discord walkthrough on trading for the NFT-native crowd.
Worth a full listen
- [34:49]–[39:25] — Slick Ric's uninterrupted run on pivoting, negotiating for a building, and why fear of failure is the actual blocker, with CEELOS's "comfortable being uncomfortable" as the closing bracket. The summary flattens it; the delivery is the point.
- [27:25]–[30:51] — Baked thinking out loud about Ant Seed in real time. If you care about where the community's prompts eventually live, this is the whole spec, caveats included.
- [49:17]–[52:36] — The vision board detour, complete with CEELOS discovering that this is a thing people actually do, Valerie's thirties-era induction, and the birth of the Lisa Frank prompt assignment.
